Maureen’s story begins at Chuka University, where she graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Education in 2019. During this 12th graduation ceremony, Maureen graduates with a Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction. Her journey extends far beyond the classroom. She stands as a distinguished figure in the County Government of Tharaka Nithi, serving as the County Executive Committee Member (CECM) in the Ministry of Youth, Sports, Culture, and Tourism. Her current role is a testament to her exceptional leadership qualities and the Government of Tharaka Nithi’s recognition of her as a leader capable of driving substantial change. MAUREEN MYAMBURA county CECM Salim Juma Kinyimu has become a trailblazer in the field of agricultural technology and information, transforming the landscape of Kenyan agriculture through digital innovation. As the Director of ICT at the Kenya Agricultural & Livestock Research Organization (KALRO), he is leading the charge in championing agricultural data and digitization. SALIM JUMA KINYIMU ict director agriculture livestock research P hilip Pande is a passionate Youth Inclusion Advisor and Policy Analyst. He is currently the Executive Director and lead Mentor at Corporate Career Academy social enterprise whose foundation can be traced back to Chuka University 9 years ago. Pande has been a key player in the Cabinet Office-executive office of the President where he has been pivotal in youth programming under the Strategic Initiatives Unit responsible for Deradicalization, Disengagement, and Rehabilitation since 2019. He is the Lead Mentor and Coordinator of the Peacebuilding Youth Leadership Innovation and Entrepreneurship Mentoring (PYLIEMgv) Program in the same office, thus far rolled out in 37 counties. Cumulatively, Philip has mentored 100,000+ youth in Kenya, 30,000+ in the lake region, and another 3,000+ across Africa. He has supported the formation of Grassroots Youth innovation hubs in Trans Nzoia, Wajir, Kisii, and Kwale counties.
