ROTATOR

The Ohio Technology Consortium (OH-TECH), a division of the Ohio Department of
Higher Education, is dedicated to advancing education, workforce development,
scientific research and innovation for Ohio. Composed of three organizations —
OARnet, OhioLINK and the Ohio Supercomputer Center (OSC) — OH-TECH participated
in a diverse range of outreach initiatives in 2023 to engage the communities it
serves and connect to new audiences.

Staff from dozens of computing centers across the nation participated in the
Ohio Supercomputer Center's AI Bootcamp for Cyberinfrastructure Professionals,
gaining new skills to support AI research.

The Management Council and OARnet will boost the bandwidth of Ohio's PreK-12
schools from 10 to 100 Gbps thanks to an ESSER Fund grant.

OhioLINK’s 117 members will migrate to software capable of managing the
electronic future of library collections in a stable and secure environment.

OSC provides powerful computing and storage resources to a diverse state and
national research community.

OhioLINK's ETD Center publishes honors theses, theses and dissertations from
students at participating Ohio colleges and universities.

OARnet's advanced network and Internet2 connection enable Ohio's researchers to
collaborate with each other and with partners throughout the world.


CONNECTING

OARnet’s statewide network delivers solutions that reduce costs, increase
productivity and improve customer service.

Staff members at 120 member-libraries easily access vital resource news,
information and guidelines from OhioLINK.

OSC offers OnDemand for one-stop access to High Performance Computing
resources. 


LEARNING

OhioLINK helps Ohio's academic libraries access high-quality electronic
resources and millions of library items and works to make course content more
affordable.

OSC's youth summer programs merge with technology to impact the areas of
training and outreach on a statewide and national level.
