Do you expect me to pay this much when I can get the same tea at reduced prices
from other brands?

The difference between us and the other brands is that we bring you fresh teas
DIRECTLY from the source. By passing the auction houses and middlemen, cutting
the journey from the garden to the cup from 6 months to a mere week. Of course,
you shall get similar teas at reduced prices from other brands but it will NOT
be the same tea, neither will be the experience. Our teas directly benefit the
gardens and the hands that pick them.

Where do you ship and pack your teas from?

We pack our teas in Siliguri, the heart of the tea-growing region in India,
located just one and a half hours away from Darjeeling.

Why is whole leaf tea better than others?

As opposed to dust tea which is highly commoditized, whole leaf teas are the
best way to experience any Indian teas. Know the difference of the different
grades:





Whole leaves - Highest grade tea, the whole leaf contains more catechins and
antioxidants and can be steeped multiple times.

Brokens - Small-sized crushed leaves that are left over after producing whole
leaf tea.

Fannings - Inferior grade tea is made up of small particles and is often
mass-produced.

Dust - The lowest grade tea should be discarded as waste but commercially used
by tea companies to reduce cost. Contains less natural benefits and is bitter in
taste.

Do all teas have caffeine? I want a beverage but with no caffeine.

Yes and No. 

All teas do have caffeine depending on the type of tea it is. White teas have
very less caffeine in comparison to a black tea.

Tisanes are called herbal teas, made from pure herbs and flowers, they contain
0% caffeine making them ideal for tea lovers who are on the lookout for non -
caffeine options. Blue Amore, Pure Chamomile are a few of our customers'

How to best store fresh teas?

While we take lot of care to keep your teas fresh here at our facility, we urge
you to do the same.

Tea is not perishable but it can deteriorate in quality if not stored right.
Always store your teas sealed in an airtight container that blocks out all light
and contains no moisture. Keep your tea away from light, moisture, and heat.
Store the tea container in a dark and cool place, away from sunlight as heat
subtly changes the flavors of tea.
