EXIT THE GUNGEON SWITCH REVIEW

1/5/2024

Update: The title is also live on Steam now as well. First of all, levels aren’t
entire floors like they were in Enter the Gungeon. But that’s where the major
similarities end. The game once again has players going from level to level,
shooting, looting, killing a boss, and repeating. The listing page for Exit the
Gungeon is up on the web, though at the time this post is being written it's
still not showing up on the Switch, possibly due to this morning's outage.
Technically speaking, the gist of Exit the Gungeon should feel pretty familiar.
But it is unusual to see an indie land on the Switch before it hits PC usually
the ports come a few months later or titles get a simultaneous release. The
ending of the game's status as a timed exclusive wasn't a complete surprise Exit
the Gungeon was listed for a May 31 release on Steam and a console release was
teased by the developers. It is ranked 1284 on the all-time Top Rated Switch
games, with a total of 15 reviews and an average score of 7.47. However, that
exclusivity is ending a bit earlier than expected as Nintendo announced during
its latest Indie World Showcase that the title would be hitting the Nintendo
Switch. Exit the Gungeon Exit the Gungeon is a roguelike for the Nintendo
Switch. The spinoff, Exit the Gungeon, was only on Apple Arcade when it was
released last fall. Exit the Gungeon is a really fun arcade game to play in
short bursts from time to time. It was especially annoying for fans of Enter the
Gungeon, a bullet hell dungeon crawler that made a real splash on PC and
consoles a few years ago. I’ll still be following it through its post-launch
journey, however, and Gungeon fanatics will find plenty of references to smile
at.Apple Arcade exclusives have been a bit of a sticking point for people who
don't have an iOS device or don't want to subscribe to the service. Later on
levels get more unique, like a series of challenge rooms that just happens to be
connected by an elevator hub, but getting to that point can be plodding.Įxit the
Gungeon is an interesting experiment and a clever way to keep the series going
without copying what’s already been done but along the path to mobile, some
crucial elements of the DNA of the franchise were lost. Unlike other roguelikes
where you can rush ahead and avoid the slow start if you know what you’re doing,
you’re at the mercy of the elevator ride.

Rinse and repeat until you…exit the gungeon.

The flow involves taking an elevator up a shaft, battling waves of enemies along
the way, stopping at an occasional trap-filled room, fighting the odd boss at
the end of a sequence, then buying items at a shop.

If possible, go for the latter approach, though note that full button binding is
coming in a later patch, so you’re at the mercy of the default settings. These
distortions leave the Gungeon falling to pieces. The Lich is defeated and the
player has shot themselves through time. Exit the Gungeon picks up right after
the True ending of Enter the Gungeon. By connecting a controller you’ll unlock
the full real-time experience, which operates like a 2D twin-stick shooter. Exit
the Gungeon, the direct sequel, takes these base ideas and shakes things up to
try to give new and returning players a fresh experience. If you opt for the
touch control scheme Exit will take care of most of the heavy lifting:
auto-shooting and pausing the game with a sort of bullet time effect when you
dodge (complete with a little aiming reticle). You can find Seasoned Gaming’s
review policy here. It’s very arcadey, good for a breezy half-hour-or-less run,
and lacking some of the depth inherent in Gungeon‘s debut by design. You can
switch on the gun drop thing but it doesnt change anything. The “blessed”
mechanic in which you’re granted a new gun periodically is permanent, preventing
the need to swap weapons. 3 people found this review helpful 1 person found this
review. Both jumping and falling down platforms is considered “dodging,” on top
of the existing horizontal roll. It’s endearing until it isn’t, which in this
case is a little more often than its predecessor due to some repeating enemy
models. If you’re not familiar with it, this is an irreverent world full of
snappy, sarcastic NPCs, enemies shaped like bullets, and tons of cute things
that want to eat your face off. While Enter proper could have been very much
playable on mobile thanks to the new controller update, Exit is more like a
bite-sized version with the same aesthetic, and part of the same charm. What was
once a roguelike is now a Super Crate Box…like. MSRP: Part of Apple Arcade
($4.99 a month), $9.99 (Switch, PC) Uniquely, Exit is actually part of the
initial launch offering for Apple’s new Arcade subscription model, but it
probably could have stood up on its own. I mean it pretty much cemented itself
as one once the arcade cabinet was unveiled at E3 this year, but now it’s
officially official with a cleverly named mobile follow-up: Exit the Gungeon.
It’s hard to believe, but the relatively recent Enter the Gungeon is now
officially a franchise.

GME SHORT FLOAT

1/5/2024

For example, the most shorted S&P 500 stocks now have an average short interest
of 11% of shares outstanding, compared to 1.6% for the median stock (in Chart
1). The most shorted stocks have much more of their market capitalization held
short compared to the typical level across all stocks. It’s also interesting to
compare the left axis on both charts. For example, short interest in mid-cap
stocks, which includes the majority of meme stocks, fell from 60% to 25% in just
weeks.Ĭhart 2: Average short interest for 10 most heavily shorted stocks (in
each group) That shows a dramatic drop in the most shorted stocks in January
2021, likely impacted by the meme stock short squeeze. In Chart 2, we focus on
the average short interest of the 10 most heavily shorted stocks in each group.
GME initially had close to a 100% short interest ratio, although as we
explained, that’s not as short as it sounds. Of course, the meme stock trading
in January 2021 was, initially at least, focused on a few very high short
interest stocks. Small- and mid-cap short interest also remains above record
lows for the period in Chart 1.

Given that, it is interesting the typical short interest in large-cap names is
around half the normal levels of short interest for mid- and small-cap stocks
throughout the period.

Some amount of shorting of stocks is required just to hedge arbitrage positions
against those index products. There are also liquid options markets on the S&P
500 index as well as swaps. S&P 500 stocks make up the most liquid ETF in the
U.S., as well the futures, which trade even more than the whole stock market
with significant open interest. Some of the short interest in S&P 500 stocks is
required to maintain arbitrage. Interestingly, S&P 500 short interest fell
fastest right after COVID-19 lockdowns, dropping to around 1.6% during 2020,
which is roughly where they sit today.Ĭhart 1: Short interest has generally
declined since 2016 For example, the typical (median) short interest in S&P 500
stocks has ranged from 1.6% to 2.9% (blue line in Chart 1).ĭespite that tight
range, short interest ratios peaked in March 2016 for all company size groups
and have since been generally declining. Over the last decade, median short
interest levels have been relatively constant. Today we take a look at short
interest as a percent of shares outstanding (short float) over time. Instead, we
typically compare short interest ratios that either look at shorts as a
percentage of float shares outstanding (short float) or average daily liquidity
(days to cover). Because not all companies are the same size, just looking at
total shares doesn’t allow good comparisons. Regulators require total short
shares held in each security to be disclosed twice every month. Short interest
represents the total amount of shares shorted.

The shares received in settlement are returned to the stock lender, and
collateral on the loan is returned to the short seller. When the short seller
closes their position, they buy back the stock. It’s done by borrowing shares of
that stock and (effectively) selling the borrowed shares in the market. Short
selling happens when a trader sells a stock they don’t already own. What’s the
difference between short selling and short interest? The meme stock activity
back in January 2021 shined a light on short selling, spurring an SEC report and
new SEC and FINRA rule change proposals.īut what is interesting when we look at
the data is that short interest was actually declining well before the MEME
stock squeeze happened. By Phil Mackintosh, Chief Economist, Nasdaq

SILVERLOCK SKSE

exe files starting with skse64_ from your Skyrim folder.īefore contacting us,
make sure that your game launches properly without SKSE64 first. Create the SKSE
folder if it doesn't already exist. Create an empty text file in \Data\SKSE\
named skse.ini. To support users on machines that don't have write access to the
Program Files folder, they have been moved to the \My Games\Skyrim Special
Edition\SKSE\ folder.

Feel free to delete any skse_*.dll files that are not included with the main
archive.

No, they are only needed if you want to run old versions of the runtime with the
last version of SKSE released for that version. * Do I need to keep old SKSE
DLLs around for backwards compatibility? I don't like having to explicitly spell
this out, but my hand has been forced. This means that if you see this file
available for download anywhere other than or, that service is violating
copyright. Exceptions may be given under applicable circumstances contact us at
the email addresses below. Providing a link to is the suggested method of
distribution. * Can I include SKSE as part of a mod pack/collection or otherwise
rehost the files? If you include any of the SKSE source code, you are required
to make your source code available. See PluginAPI.h for instructions, as well as
the example plugin project included with the rest of the source code. Most have
comments describing their purpose, if it is not obvious from the name. psc file
is a label that shows the SKSE functions which have been added. * How do I know
what SKSE functions have been added? psc files from Data\Scripts\Source you can
simply use the new functions listed. * How do I write Papyrus scripts using SKSE
extensions? If this does not meet your needs, please email the contact addresses
listed below. No the suggested method for extending SKSE is to write a plugin. *
Can I modify and release my own version of SKSE based on the included source
code? Note that this may run the game as a separate user, so your load order
will need to be copied to the new user's profile. This can be enabled as a
compatibility option in the program's properties window. Try running
skse64_loader.exe as an Administrator by right-clicking on skse64_loader.exe and
selecting "Run As Administrator". * I've followed the directions, but Skyrim SE
still seems to launch without SKSE64! Adding an exception to your scanner's
rules may be necessary. Since this technique can also be used by viruses, some
badly-written virus scanners assume that any program doing it is a virus. To
extend Skyrim and the editor, we use a technique called DLL injection to load
our code. * My virus scanner complains about skse64_loader! We do things that
can't be done on consoles due to restrictions put in place by the manufacturers.
Let us know how you made it crash, and we'll look into fixing it. Future
versions of SKSE64 will be backwards compatibile, so including a potentially old
version can cause confusion and/or break other mods which require newer
versions. If your mod requires SKSE64, please provide a link to the main SKSE
website instead of packaging it with your mod install. You or your mod manager
must continue to use the loader for SKSE64 to work. Run skse64_loader.exe to
launch the game. Make sure to add them to your include path.Ĥ. psc files are
only needed if you have the CreationKit installed and intend to create or
compile Papyrus scripts. psc files in Data\Scripts\Source\ into the
Data\Scripts\Source\ folder of your installation. pex files are needed by all
users of SKSE.ģ.

pex files in Data\Scripts\ into the Data\Scripts\ folder of your installation.
The "src" folder is only useful for programmers, most users can ignore it.Ģ. Do
not copy these files to the Data folder as with a normal mod. If you see files
named SkyrimSE and SkyrimSELauncher, this is the correct folder. This is usually
in your Program Files folder under Steam\SteamApps\common\Skyrim Special
Edition\. The Epic Store, Windows Store (gamepass), and console versions are not
supported.ġ. Do not email to let us know that a new version has been released we
already know. Updates if needed will be available as soon as possible. Please
make sure you download the correct version for your store. SKSE64 will support
the latest version of Skyrim available on Steam and GOG. It does so without
modifying the executable files on disk, so there are no permanent side effects.
The Skyrim Script Extender 64, or SKSE64 for short, is a modder's resource that
expands the scripting capabilities of Skyrim Special Edition. Special thanks to
eternity for the help getting this finished. Thanks to: Paul Connelly

TEMPLATES FOR BUSINESS LETTER HEADER OFFICE 2007

1/4/2024

Formatting won’t upload or translate well in those cases. Remember that some
resumes and cover letters are sent in text only or through a text reader. Use
any font and formatting variations sparingly, though. If you are in an industry
that places a premium on individuality and creativity, then you can use one font
change or styles (like bold or italic). For most cover letters, you want to use
the same font throughout. See Figure 3.Īs you go along or all at once, you might
want to change the font, size, and style. That is because it is just a
placeholder field which is supposed to make it easier for you to select and
change or delete the information. You will notice that as you click on any of
the letters in the “Street Address, City, ST ZIP Code” text, that it all turns
gray. To customize the letter, you can choose to delete some pieces and add
other fields that are important to you.įor example, you might want to add your
website to the header at the top of the page and remove the physical address
information. Once you have the template saved on your computer, you can begin to
customize the letter by removing the placeholder text in the document with your
information. Once you choose your template, you can click on the Create button
on the dialog box. For this example, I just went with the “Resume cover letter
(chronological)” template. See Figure 1.Īgain, you are just using the Word
template to get started, not to follow exactly. In the search box enter the
keywords “cover letter”. You can see all of them by launching Word and then
clicking on the File tab and New link on the left. Microsoft Word has a large
assortment of templates. You can start with a basic Word template, but add your
own formatting and design. The best way to approach writing a cover letter is to
keep it simple and don’t match everything to a template. There used to be a
standard letter format, but even that has changed over the past decade. If you
ask three people for help when writing a cover letter, you will get three
different pieces of advice.

blinds or curtains, whilst focusing light fittings away from both the screen and
audience too. Lighting control systems provide energy savings and peace of mind
by allowing you to control a wide variety of lights using intelligent switch
communication. These might be recessed, surface-mounted, pendant, wall-mounted,
etc. Discrete coffered lighting, spot-lights, cove lighting, c eiling
light, 5amp lamps and diffused LED strips will be installed and then automated
via a lighting control system to best highlight primary design cues within the
space and adjust lighting levels of lighting for your home cinema. Done well,
shades may be fitted to block out external sunlight, whilst the lighting itself
will be layered with multiple circuits. Automatically controlling lights and
shades as part of their everyday security routine adds energy-saving and
convenience benefits that the customer will use every day, Kleinberg said.

Illumination and ambient control of the cinema room lighting is a key
consideration at the design stage for achieving a succesful cinematic
experience. Rather than adding an extra step to a homeowner’s routine, lighting
and shades control can integrate with existing habits.

The multifactorial BOADICEA model provides valid breast cancer risk predictions
and a basis for personalised decision-making on disease prevention and
screening. The full multifactorial model classified 3.6% women as high risk
(5-year risk ≥3%) and 11.1% as very low risk (5-year risk <0.33%).
Discrimination was maximised when all risk factors are considered (AUC=0.70, 95%
CI: 0.66 to 0.73 expected-to-observed ratio=0.88, 95% CI: 0.75 to 1.04
calibration slope=0.97, 95% CI: 0.95 to 0.99). BOADICEA was well calibrated in
predicting the risks for low-risk and high-risk women when all, or subsets of
risk factors are included in the risk prediction. The discriminatory ability was
assessed using the area under the curve (AUC).Īmong the individual model
components, the PRS contributed most to breast cancer risk stratification.
Calibration was assessed by comparing observed and expected risks in deciles of
predicted risk and the calibration slope. We calculated 5-year risks on the
basis of questionnaire-based risk factors, pedigree-structured first-degree
family history, mammographic density (BI-RADS), a validated breast cancer
polygenic risk score (PRS) based on 313-SNPs, and pathogenic variant status in 8
breast cancer susceptibility genes: BRCA1, BRCA2, PALB2, CHEK2, ATM, RAD51C,
RAD51D and BARD1. We validated BOADICEA (V.6) in the Swedish KARolinska
Mammography Project for Risk Prediction of Breast Cancer (KARMA) cohort
including 66 415 women of European ancestry (median age 54 years, IQR 45–63 816
incident breast cancers) without previous cancer diagnosis. We assessed the
clinical validity of the model in a large independent prospective cohort. The
multifactorial Breast and Ovarian Analysis of Disease Incidence and Carrier
Estimation Algorithm (BOADICEA) breast cancer risk prediction model has been
recently extended to consider all established breast cancer risk factors. This
approach allows for improved accuracy and communication of AD risk among
cognitively unimpaired older adults. We then incorporated the risk computed from
the demographic model with hazard ratios computed from independent data for
amyloid positron emission tomography status and magnetic resonance imaging
hippocampal volume (AUC = 0.84), and for plasma amyloid beta (Aβ)42/Aβ40 (AUC =
0.82).Īn adaptive tool was developed and validated to compute absolute risks of
AD dementia. Clinical and cognitive variables (AUC = 0.79), and apolipoprotein E
genotype (AUC = 0.76) were added to the demographic model. Five-year risk of AD
dementia was modeled using survival analysis.Ī demographic model was developed
and validated on independent data with area under the receiver operating
characteristic curve (AUC) for 5-year prediction of AD dementia of 0.79. We
analyzed longitudinal data from >10,000 cognitively unimpaired older adults. We
provide an illustration of the utility of iCARE for building, validating and
applying absolute risk models using breast cancer as an example.Īs Alzheimer's
disease (AD) biomarkers rapidly develop, tools are needed that accurately and
effectively communicate risk of AD dementia.

The validation component of the software implements the methods for evaluation
of model calibration, discrimination and risk-stratification based on
independent validation datasets. The software allows single nucleotide
polymorphisms (SNPs) to be incorporated into the model using published odds
ratios and allele frequencies.

The tool can handle missing information on risk factors for individuals for whom
risks are to be predicted using a coherent approach where all estimates are
derived from a single model after appropriate model averaging. An attractive
feature of the software is that it gives users flexibility to update models
rapidly based on new knowledge on risk factors and tailor models to different
populations by specifying three input arguments: a model for relative risk, an
age-specific disease incidence rate and the distribution of risk factors for the
population of interest. This report describes an R package, called the
Individualized Coherent Absolute Risk Estimator (iCARE) tool, that allows
researchers to build and evaluate models for absolute risk and apply them to
estimate an individual’s risk of developing disease during a specified time
interval based on a set of user defined input parameters.
