Get started with Read Your Body! FAQS FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS What can I track in the app? You can track menstrual bleeding, spotting, cervical fluid, sensation, cervix changes, temperature (with optional Tempdrop integration), hormone test results (advanced Clearblue fertility monitor, LH, progesterone and pregnancy test results), intimacy (secular / Catholic-friendly options). You can also track cyclical symptoms like ovulation pain and breast tenderness, and unlimited lifestyle factors including exercise and self-care. Each day you can add notes, a journal entry and up to two photos. Read Your Body allows you to make your charting practice as complete or streamlined as you like! Who is Read Your Body suitable for? Read Your Body is suitable for those with regular or irregular menstrual cycles including those who have recently stopped using hormonal contraception / birth control, are living with PCOS, postpartum or approaching menopause. There are no predictions or auto-interpretations with Read Your Body so that you can observe and record your biomarkers in real-time. The app is not a contraceptive device or a medical device. The app puts responsibility for all interpretations and outcomes in your hands. It is designed to be used alongside learning support. The app is inclusive of all faiths, genders, sexualities and relationship models. Intimacy options can be set to respect different beliefs and practices including a special mode suitable for Catholic users or a wide range of secular options. How effective is Read Your Body for avoiding pregnancy? Read Your Body does not have an effectiveness rate because it’s simply a digital data recording and visualisation tool. It doesn’t include any predictions or auto-interpretations. It’s not a contraceptive device. Responsibility for all outcomes is in your hands. You can use Read Your Body to record daily observations of scientifically validated biomarkers like cervical fluid, temperature and hormone tests. You can then interpret your patterns yourself according to the guidelines of your chosen fertility awareness-based method (FABM). Modern fertility awareness-based methods (FABMs) can be highly effective for avoiding pregnancy with perfect use. Is Read Your Body a good choice if I’m new to charting? Yes! Read Your Body is very customisable and can be set up with a simple template to get you started. You can optionally add more tracking items as you go. You’ll find information pop-ups throughout the app and our friendly team is always here to support. Educators are also available worldwide who offer learning courses and chart reviews to build your confidence. How do I know that my data is totally private? By default all data in Read Your Body is stored only on your device for total privacy. Optional backup accounts are offered for peace of mind. Backed up data is encrypted meaning that we can never see, share, sell or do anything with it. This forms the basis of our privacy promise. How much does it cost to use the app? Read Your Body is available to try for free for 30 days – chart with it for approximately one cycle to confirm that you love it! After that it’s just US$1.99 monthly or US$14.99 annually or the equivalent in your local currency. This enables us to maintain and continuously improve the app while respecting your privacy.
