GARDEZ UN ŒIL SUR VOS FINANCES GRÂCE AUX ALERTES DE SOLDE





APERÇU

Les alertes de solde font partie du service InfoAlertes Scotia. Si le solde de
votre compte bancaire ou si le crédit disponible de votre compte de ligne ou de
carte de crédit est inférieur à 100 $ (ou à un autre montant que vous aurez
choisi), dans la devise de votre compte, vous recevrez un avis par courriel. 


Les alertes de solde sont conçues pour aider les consommateurs à gérer plus
facilement leurs finances et à éviter des frais inutiles ou l’interruption de
l’utilisation de leur compte.

Vous pouvez modifier le seuil des alertes de solde, modifier l’adresse courriel
où seront envoyées les avis, activer et désactiver les alertes de solde et
personnaliser vos InfoAlertes Scotia dans Scotia en direct et dans l’appli
mobile de la Banque Scotia.

WHAT ARE BALANCE ALERTS AND WHY IS SCOTIABANK SENDING THEM TO ME?

Balance Alerts are email notifications that are triggered if your account
balance (for a personal bank account) or available credit (for a personal line
of credit or credit card account) falls below $100 (or another amount chosen by
you) in the currency of your account(s).

WHICH ACCOUNTS WILL I RECEIVE BALANCE ALERTS FOR?

Scotiabank customers with a personal bank account (including personal bank
accounts with overdraft protection) or personal line of credit or credit card
and a valid email address on file with us will automatically be enrolled to
receive Balance Alerts, as well as security related notifications through Scotia
InfoAlerts.

MY ACCOUNT IS JOINT. WILL ALL OF US RECEIVE BALANCE ALERTS?

Yes. Although each account holder/borrower on the account is automatically
enrolled into Balance Alerts, each can individually opt out, opt back in, and
modify preferences, including the notification amount for Balance Alerts,
independent of the other account holders/borrowers, through Scotia OnLine or the
Scotia mobile app.

CAN I CHANGE THE AMOUNT AT WHICH I’D LIKE TO RECEIVE BALANCE ALERTS? FOR
EXAMPLE, INSTEAD OF $100 CAN I RECEIVE THEM AT $250?

Yes. You can easily change your Balance Alert notification amount through Scotia
OnLine or the Scotia Mobile app.

To change your notification preferences:

Mobile

 1. Sign into the Scotia mobile app
 2. Go to More
 3. Select Profile and Settings
 4. Select Manage Notifications (to unsubscribe from all alerts scroll down and
    click on “Unsubscribe from InfoAlerts”)

Web

 1. Sign into online banking
 2. Go to Manage My Accounts
 3. Select Alerts
 4. Select Continue (to unsubscribe from all alerts scroll down and click on
    “Unsubscribe from InfoAlerts”)

CAN I OPT OUT OF RECEIVING BALANCE ALERTS? IF SO, HOW?
