A place for land based fishers to share experiences & connect online.


AUSTRALIAN LAND BASED ANGLERS ASSOCIATION INC

ALBAA operates a members only closed Facebook group, articles, archives and our
extensive land based fishing reference library.

As well as the online platform, ALBAA runs at least four annual events. These
may vary in location and timing but provide a great opportunity for members to
catch up in person, share a beer and an experience or two, get some fishing in
and generally have a good time with friends and family. The ALBAA NSW Mid Coast
trip continues to be a raging success and is a highlight of our calendar year.

Incorporated in 2008 as a result of ongoing access pressures to Land Based
fishing locations, ALBAA continues to be involved in campaigning for the
preservation of access to these places. Over the years the club has built an
extensive network and with close ties to the Recreational Fishing Alliance
(RFA), ’If you have the drive to get involved, we will make your voice count!’

The  ALBAA ‘Have a go’ comp runs 365 days a year and incorporates a length only
leader board and participation based points award system to encourage all
members to get involved and Have a Go! ALBAA is also an affiliate club of ANSA
and as such provides pathways for members to submit captures to the State and
National competitions.

ALBAA is actively involved in the Angel Rings Project and takes a stewardship
role in rock fishing safety. We have also participated in and initiated
environmental campaigns with ALBAA’s Ledge Care initiative. As a member of our
Association, this experience is at your disposal. ‘if you would like to set
something up in your local area you just have to let us know and we’ll be keen
to help you get it off the ground!’

Above all, ALBAA is a fishing club for its members. We encourage family
participation and kids are always welcome. Whether your interest is in Trout,
Bass, Barra, Bread & Butter Rock fishing or full blown Land Based Gamefishing,
ALBAA is a great place for anglers of all ages and skill levels.


2019 – 2020 ALBAA MEMBERSHIP

Membership to the Australian Land Based Anglers Association (ALBAA) for
2019-2020 is now open and runs until the 30 June 2020 via the following fee
schedule:



FAMILY

$73.00 per year



SENIOR

$60.00 per year



STUDENT

$20.00 per year



JUNIOR

$10.00 per year

Please note: ALBAA membership includes ANSA membership by default. If you are
already an ANSA member a discount will apply. If you require any additional
