The truth about starting a YouTube channel is that it takes time, like any new
skill. ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ Your first 6-12 months is a time for learning and getting used to
the habit of posting and discovering.⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ Your first video is not going to
garner any views, and most likely your second, third or even 10th video. ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣
In my first year of taking YouTube seriously, I was posting every single week,
only gaining 20 views per day. What I didn’t realize at the time was that I was
planting the seeds for what was to come. ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ After a year of posting (over 50
videos), things started to turn . Some of the videos started getting picked up
by YouTube, and I even had a video go semi-viral.⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ Another video has almost
hit 1 million views! That’s a million people who had watched my video 🤯⁣⁣ ⁣⁣
Ultimately, more views = more exposure which attracts:⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ 1. Revenue from ads
that passively earns⁣⁣ 2. Brands sponsoring your channel⁣⁣ 3. More sales to your
products or services⁣⁣ 4. Revenue from recommending products⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ And let’s not
forget, the impact you will make on others from your videos.⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ This timeline
certainly isn’t typical. I wanted to express the importance of patience,
learning, consistency and improving along the way.⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ In my YouTube
