Mik Barna constructed our home — a large and complex project in a town that
posed some unique regulatory challenges. Mik delivered a beautifully constructed
house on-time and on-budget, despite these challenges. His workmanship is
excellent, he is a pleasure to work with personally and is trustworthy. Since
the construction was completed, he has been readily available to answer
questions and for any follow up work. We have engaged 4 contractors over the
years for various projects and Mik was far and away the best of a generally good

1734) we had our first interview with Mik Barna and knew immediately that there
was no need to look any further. In under 10 months, Mik and his crew
transformed what seemed to be a complete loss into a prized showcase – they are
true craftsmen in every sense of the word. There was great attention paid to the
intricate details of such an old, historic building. They had abundant knowledge
of the architectural time period, while allowing the building to function as a
modern day establishment. Mik and his entire team proved to be innovative and
creative in every way! Barna Building Contractors was able to completely restore
The Sergeantsville Inn to its former glory and more.
