The Summit starts in

The Final Countdown!
Time left for the event 19 days 3 hours 23 minutes 54 seconds
The countdown doesn't work if the event start date is set to TBD

Healing starts with you.

Join us for a family wellness summit.

The past few years have been rough. No way around it. But people are resilient.
And that’s what mental health is about. Growing your innate strengths so you can
meet life’s challenges with a little more ease. Because when you feel better,
your family does, too. It just takes a willingness to start.

Join us for 3 days of healing conversations led by therapists, a working father
and Spring Health member, and Spring Health clinicians who can guide you to the
best resources for you and your family.

At the summit, you’ll learn:

The difference between therapy and coaching, and what to expect during a session

How to develop a mental health toolbox that you can use at any time

A mindfulness exercise you can start doing on your own or with your family

Agenda

Monday, May 23

12 - 1pm EDT

Welcome address.

What actually happens in therapy and coaching?

Thought about counseling, but not sure if you need it or are anxious about what
to expect? We’ll discuss what happens in a counseling and coaching session, what
the difference is, what you can get out of it, and how to get started.

You’ll also learn:
What’s my role in therapy and coaching sessions?
What are some things that I can get help with?
How will I know if it ‘worked’?

Tuesday, May 24

Travis Henderson

Maintenance Mechanic at the General Mills Oat Flour Plant in Fridley, MN

Travis Henderson enjoys giving back to his community as not only a volunteer
firefighter but also as a City Council member. Like a lot of young people,
joining the Fire Department had been a dream of his. In 2016 that dream came
true when he joined the Dayton, MN Fire Department. Interested in other avenues
to give back to the community, Travis was elected to City Council in 2020 and is
currently serving a 4-year term.

When not responding to emergency calls or serving on the Council, Travis works
as a full-time maintenance mechanic at the General Mills Fridley, MN oat flour
plant. His role there is to keep the plant functional, on the repair and rebuild
side of the operation. He enjoys understanding the ‘why’ and developing
inventive and functional ways to repair and rebuild various parts of the process
system.

Travis is a devoted family man to his wife, Stephanie, and four children ranging
in age from two to 14 years old. In his free time, Travis enjoys taking
motorcycle trips with his wife on their Harley, riding the trails in his
off-road vehicle, and various outdoor activities. Most days he can be found in
his garage tinkering or working on a never-ending list of home improvement
projects.
