THE HUNTER’S INN OPENED ITS DOORS IN THE HEART
OF POTOMAC VILLAGE IN 1978.
Hunter’s Bar and Grill, originally named Hunter’s Inn, opened its doors in the
heart of the Potomac Village in 1978. Hunter’s is known to many as the “Cheers
of Potomac” due to its strong community presence and warm, inviting atmosphere.
Local papers have praised Hunter’s Bar and Grill over the years. Washingtonian
Magazine deemed Hunter’s burgers as one of “Washington’s Best”, Hunter’s
received the Best of Potomac Reader’s Choice Award in 2022, and Hunter’s has
also been named “the best place to meet”, “the best place to make a deal”, and
“the most romantic restaurant” in Potomac, among many other accolades. Hunter’s
offers a diverse menu including salads, pastas, sandwiches, burgers, seafood,
and steaks as well as daily happy hour deals and daily specials.

same high standard and the ambience has changed a bit with bigger TVs in the
bar.
