Below are important dates for interested speakers. Please note that these dates
are subject to change. We will confirm any updated due dates for presentations
drafts, dry runs, recordings, and video approvals when speaker selections are
finalized on August 18.

WHAT HAPPENS AFTER I SUBMIT MY PAPER?



Next steps:


 * Review
   Papers will be accepted and graded on a rolling basis beginning July 2. You
   can expect a response from us within approximately two weeks after July 2.
 * Refine
   If your paper is selected, our team of industry experts and our content team
   will work with you to develop an engaging, dynamic presentation.
 * Rehearse
   As the conference approaches, our team will meet with you remotely to
   rehearse your presentation. A practice session ensures that you’ll arrive in
   San Francisco feeling prepared and confident to present at AVEVA World.

What if my paper isn't accepted?

Not every proposed paper will the right fit for this event, and space is
limited. We encourage you to submit your paper as soon as it’s ready. If it’s
not the right time for your presentation, we’ll keep your information on file
for other upcoming opportunities.

FAQS

HOW DO I IMPROVE MY PAPER’S CHANCES OF BEING ACCEPTED?

Please refer to the presentation content guidelines to prepare your submission.

HOW WILL I KNOW IF MY PAPER HAS BEEN ACCEPTED?

One of our committees will notify you by email. The AVEVA World content
committee will start grading the talk proposals on July 2. The acceptance
process will continue into mid-September.

I HAVE SUBMITTED MY TALK, BUT NOW I WOULD LIKE TO EDIT THE TITLE AND THE
ABSTRACT A LITTLE BIT. HOW DO I DO THAT?

After you submit your paper, you will receive a confirmation email with a link
to our speaker portal. You may log in there and edit your session details,
including your bio, job title, and headshot.

IF MY TALK HAS BEEN ACCEPTED, WILL AVEVA COVER MY FLIGHT AND ACCOMMODATION?

No. AVEVA does not cover the speaker’s travel expenses. However, we will be
happy to provide you with a 100% discount to attend the conference.

IF MY TALK HAS BEEN ACCEPTED, WILL I STILL NEED TO PAY THE CONFERENCE ATTENDANCE
FEE?

No. We will provide you with a 100% speaker’s discount code to attend the
conference for free. However, you will need to pay for your flight and
accommodations yourself.

I AM GOING TO PRESENT WITH MY COLLEAGUE. DOES THAT MEAN BOTH OF US CAN ATTEND
AVEVA WORLD FOR FREE?

Yes. Up to two presenters per session may receive discount codes. Any presenters
beyond the first two must pay the conference attendance fee

OUR COMPANY IS AVEVA’S PARTNER. CAN WE SUBMIT A PAPER AND PRESENT AT AVEVA
WORLD?

We suggest reaching out to your customer and submitting a joint presentation. We
prefer presentations to be led by the customer with the partner’s support. The
most important thing is to focus on the customer story—the challenge, the
solution, and the resulting benefits.  Please refer to our partner presentation
guidelines to help ensure you make your best possible submission.

OUR COMPANY IS AN AVEVA WORLD SPONSOR AND WE HAVE A BOOTH AT THE EXPO. DOES THIS
MEAN WE AUTOMATICALLY GET A SESSION SLOT IN THE AVEVA WORLD AGENDA?

Only platinum, gold and silver-level sponsors will have a session slot to
present their solutions in a dedicated sponsor spotlight track. Other sponsors
will need to submit their papers through the call for papers request and
co-present with a customer. 

WHAT IS THE DEADLINE FOR SUBMITTING A PAPER?

Please refer to our “Important dates” section to learn about submission
deadlines.

ARE YOU GOING TO RECORD MY PRESENTATION?

Yes. All the presentations are being recorded and then published on our
resources portal. If your company’s PR department doesn’t approve of your
presentation being published, please inform us and we will not publish your
presentation.
