ARTIST STATEMENT

‘I don’t think we see reality, we see a collage of ideas, emotions and history
which are unique to each person. Our view of reality changes under the influence
of our own experiences. it’s not a fixed concept, my blue can be your red. In my
work I try to distort reality in a way we all experience something new. Remember
how you used to look at the world when you were a child? Through my art I would
like to maintain this open view and share this with my audience. Make the unseen
visible, add a different layer, wonder about everything and question established
rules and patterns, without judgement. Nothing is ‘normal’ or ‘fixed’,
everything is in an ever-changing state.’
