About Your Guide
Growing up in a small Australian surf town, where the only means of
transportation was a bike, left a mark on Geoff. Moving to Toronto for
university didn’t mean he gave up on two wheel adventures, although the streets
were a little less friendly! Even as work and family became a priority, Geoff
stayed connected through trail riding and was an early adopter when fat bikes
burst onto the scene.
Today his love of adventure and FatBikes shines through on every tour. He wants
each guest to feel connected: to the joy of riding; the pleasure of sharing; and
the excitement of the outdoors. The simple things that are way too easy to
forget in ourbusy lives.

I have been bike commuting in Toronto forever. After one trail ride on the
fatbike, I was hooked.
It’s amazing how well it smooths out the bumps, I wish I had one for the city
streets. Whether you’re looking for an adrenaline rush or a scenic ride in

I have been riding 12 mile creek for a decade or more and recently connected
with Geoff and his fatbikes. The extra traction allows you to carry
more speed downhill through the turns & make it up even the steepest ascents. As
long as you keep pedaling, the bike keeps moving and fun doesn’t stop.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
* Are bikes and equipment included?
Yes. FatBikes, helmets and gloves are provided (riders are responsible for
any significant damage).
* What's included?
* A 2hr+ ride on one of five FatBikes with helmets an gloves provided (in
case you don’t have your own).
* Trail snacks and water to keep your energy levels from depleting. If we do
this right, you will be tired afterward.
* An outdoor charcoal BBQ after the ride, featuring organic hamburgers,
sausages or chicken along with a hearty serving of vegetables and a
beverage of your choice. Most dietary restrictions can be accommodated
when identified in advance.
* A chance to share what your favorite part about the ride was and how it
made you feel.
* Is there an age limit?
There is no age limit, however due to FatBike availability, rides must be at
least 4’11” tall to book a tour.
* What skill level is needed?
We cater to everyone from novice through to advanced riders. The key is to
identify your skill level during booking to ensure the other rides are not
way above your level. The closer everyone’s skill level is, the more fun
everyone will have. If you’re really not sure, we encourage you to drop by
before your ride for an assessment (to be booked in advance of your ride).
* What happens if it rains?
A significant amount of the trails are clay base, which gets greasey/slippery
when wet. As customer safety is our first priority, we generally wont ride
and you will have the option of a refund or rebooking another tour. If the
rain is light enough and the sun has a chance to dry the trails before the
tour starts, we will ride (you will receive text updated one hour before your
time). Anyone that remains concerned about riding will have an opportunity to
rebook their tour.
* How much does it cost?
Cost for individual riders is $275, there is a $15 discount for each
additional rider booked at the same time. If you book all five riders for a
specific time slot, the flat rate is $1250.
* Which trails?
The base tour is focused on a loop around the 12 Mile Creek; up the
escarpment, through the Brock University trails and back down the escarpment.
For advanced level riders with stamina, thee is also the opportunity to ride
a portion of the 2022 Canada Games Mountain Bike Race trail. Different trails
can be chosen by selecting the Customized Ride button
* What should I wear?
Light cotton long sleeve t-shirts and tight fitting shorts/leggings in the
summer as well as sturdy running shoes.
* What if my skill level is below novice?
In addition to booking a tour, book a private lesson with Chase that Feeling.
We will get you riding at the novice level or refund your tour fees (not the
private lesson fee).

Mountain Biking has an inherent risk of injury & can be physically demanding.
Please check with your physician before adventuring and always ride within your
limits. Each rider will be asked to sign a waiver as a precondition for riding
with Chase that Feeling. A 50% deposit is required at time of booking, the
remaining fee is due 48 hrs prior to riding. Deposits are refundable up to 96

to transfer deposits.
