So, the other day I went to Dog Beach wearing my new treat pouch/poop bag holder
thing. I had stuffed the mesh pocket in front with some treats that our trainer
had described as “really stinky and good.”
Apparently, she was right about the smelly treats. As soon as we got to the
beach, several dogs swarmed around me, nosing my pouch. It was actually
thrilling to walk down the beach feeling like I had hordes of canine admirers
pursuing me, like the Beatles running from screaming fans in old film clips.
Dogs would gather around me, begging for a treat, and after asking their humans
if it was okay, I would give them one. Some of the dogs were a bit insistent,
but most of them asked nicely and waited for me to treat them. But then, as I
was walking further down the beach, I felt a tug at my pouch and saw that one
dog was ripping into the pouch and helping himself. Two other dogs came up and
joined the feeding frenzy.
In an effort to keep my new pouch from being ripped to shreds, I pulled away,
but the first dog wouldn’t let go. In the tumult, I ended up down in the sand.
When I pulled the remaining treats out of my ripped pouch, the ripper dog
chomped on my finger trying to get them.
The rude dog’s owner came along and called his beast off. In lieu of an apology,
he said, “You brought treats to Dog Beach? Rookie mistake!” It really came as no
surprise that the dick dog’s owner was also a dick.
I adore dogs, and through my love for them, I have found it easy to forgive them
and all their quirks, their good and bad behavior, as just dogs being dogs. I’ve
lately found it helpful to apply that same attitude toward people. When someone
is annoying and, say, doesn’t apologize for their dog ripping my new pouch, it
helps me to think of their a-hole behavior as just humans being humans.
I can’t control what my others among my own feral primate species do, but I can
accept that some people will be jerks, and I can try to not be one of them.
Though, I suspect some humans might benefit from some good training, and some
may do well with a muzzle...and a shock collar. 🤪

I have had this for about three weeks now and wanted to fully test it out before
writing a review. This is the most stylish and functional dog treat holder I
have ever used! It truly does carry everything you need it to so you don’t have
to go out walking your dogs with all of your stuff in your pockets! My favorite
way to use it is around my waist and I like how the strap has a silky feeling,
not rugged and it’s super easy to adjust. I also like the fact that you can
slide the treat bag around on it too! So if I need to have easy access I can
slide the bag to the front or if I want it behind me it can be too. Not only do
I wear it on walks but I’m a dog groomer and bring my dogs to work with me and
they have listened so much better knowing they will possibly get a treat if they
come when called! I have gotten a lot of compliments on it and although people
think it’s funny that I’m technically wearing a fanny pack at work, it really
helps with training my pups and I’ll take behaved dogs over style any day. I
really do hope this holds up for a long time, but if not I will certainly buy
more!

I bought this dog treat bag to replace the lost one I had prior to. While I had
high standards from the last treat bag this deleiveres a few extras my first one
did not. Smaller design as to not feel so bulky on the hip is a top one I enjoy.
I also love that it can slip into my handsfree lead and I don't have to worry
about it un-clipping & falling off. Hence why I think I lost my first one. The

I bought this dog treat bag to replace the lost one I had prior to. While I had
high standards from the last treat bag this deleiveres a few extras my first one
did not. Smaller design as to not feel so bulky on the hip is a top one I enjoy.
I also love that it can slip into my handsfree lead and I don't have to worry
about it un-clipping & falling off. Hence why I think I lost my first one. The
only thing I would change about this treat bag is the drawstring should be on
both sides as to make an even circle. Otherwise I love the small storage pockets
throughout. One has an opening for your dog waste bags and the other I can
easily slid my cell phone into.

while walking my dog. IT WASNT WORKING. When I saw this bag I thought, give it a
try. Oh my it is SO perfect. my phone & treat go in main compartment, my keys in
zip pocket, my mace hangs perfectly on size and you have the poop bag dispenser
on the back. It is very compact and ALL I need when walking. It has a shoulder
strap and or belt. I prefer the belt with my dog, it is more convenient. This is
a well thought out product that I would recommend for anyone that walks, with or
without a dog.

This pouch is exactly what I needed. I recently had to move from a house into an
apartment for 6 months while on a job assignment. One of my dogs didn't handle
the change so well and was becoming aggressive with other dogs during our walks.
She is fine off-leash at parks, etc., just not on-leash during walks. Anyway, I
started carrying a baggie of treats with me during our walks to try to get her
back on track when it comes to other dogs during our walks. The training worked
well, but it was very awkward trying to carry around a bag of treats, dog waste
bags (the dispenser that clips onto the leash falls off all the time), walk to
dogs, and try to keep one of them under control when other dogs came into view.
This training pouch is exactly what I needed to free up my hands and keep
control of the leashes. The treats are easy to reach quickly. I love that it has
a poop baggie dispenser too. I wear mine cross body, but the belt clip looks
sturdy enough and it also came with a strap to wear around your waist if
preferred.

Had I rated this bag when I first got it, it would have been a 4 possibly a 5.
After 1-1/2 months of daily use, the washer has come loose from the bag so moves
whenever I open or close the bag.
Pros:
Easy to get treats quickly.
Moves on the belt so I can move it to the back so I'm not tempted to grab a
treat prematurely.
Love always having a poop bag with me, although I have not mastered breaking one
bag off the roll when it's in the zippered part of the bag -- but that's
operator error!
Cons:
Would be nice if it could close from both sides so it does not bunch up when not
in use.
The washer came loose from the bag and now moves whenever I'm opening or closing
the bag.
I can still use the bag, but I'll be looking to replace it soon.

Loved this item, was very expensive for a treat bag, but fed up of cheap ones

The extra pockets are useful. I use the headphone outlet to pull out the poop
bags. I like that I can wear it at the belt with a clip or over the shoulders
with the extra long straps. It can contain about 1 pound of treats which is
perfect for training sessions.
Édit: after a few weeks of usage it’s completely destroyed. The seams didn’t
last long and the material is cheap. Had to throw it in the garbage completely
useless.
