ELECTRONICS INSURANCE

"Electronic Equipment Insurance is essentially an "accident insurance" on "All
Risks" basis for electronic equipment. It covers all losses except those
specifically excluded, which arise suddenly and unforeseeably and materially
affect the subject matter insured necessitating repair or replacement."

ELECTRONICS INSURANCE

Section 1: Covers material damage to the electronic equipment. Section 2: Covers
material loss or damage to external data media including the costs of
reprocessing and restoring lost information Section 3: Provides cover for any
additional expenditure incurred for the use of substitute EDP equipment not
already covered under the policy.

RATING GUIDELINES Section I – Materials Damage: Basic Rate : 0.5% to 1.5% on
value Excess : 10% each and every loss, minimum K20, 000.00 Section II –
External Data Media: Basic Rate : 0.5% to 2.5% on value Excess : 10% each and
every loss, minimum K20, 000.00 Section III – Additional Increase in Cost of
Working: Basic Rate : 0.75% to 1.5% on value Time Excess: 3 – 5 days

policies in it as well as liabilities of the householder or owner.

HOME INSURANCE

"Basic coverage on house owner’s insurance policies includes coverage for fire
and smoke, lightning, theft, ice and snow and frozen pipes. In addition, basic
coverage also includes liability coverage in case someone suffers an injury in
your house. If there are court fees associated with an injury, your basic
coverage will cover them subject to set policy limits. Finally, if your house
becomes uninhabitable due to one of the covered risks, basic coverage typically
takes care of your living costs (alternative accommodation) subject to
applicable limits which are related to the sums insured and value of contents.
