DIRECTIONS FROM RSW Regional SW International Airport – Merge onto I-75 N.
Take exit 131 toward Cape Coral. Merge onto Daniels Pkwy. Use the left 2
lanes to turn left onto 6 Mile Cypress Pkwy. Continue onto Gladiolus Dr. Use
the left lane to merge onto County Rd 869 S/Summerlin Rd via the ramp to Ft
Myers Beach/Sanibel/Captiva. Keep left to continue on Summerlin Rd. Continue
onto McGregor Blvd. Continue onto Sanibel Causeway. Continue onto Causeway
Blvd. At the four way intersection, continue straight onto Lindgren Blvd.
When you reach the stop sign at E Gulf Dr, you should see the signs for
Sanibel Inn/Dante’s straight ahead. If you are checking into Song of the Sea
or Seaside Inn, make a left on E Gulf Drive. For Sunset Beach Inn, you can
make a right on periwinkle, see addresses below.
DIRECTIONS FROM TIA Tampa International Airport – Head northeast on George J
Bean Pkwy toward Airport Recirculation Dr. Follow 1-275 S and 1-75 S to
Naples. Take Exit 131 from I-75 S to Cape Coral/SW Florida Airport. Continue
on Daniels Pkwy and turn right. Turn left on 6 Mile Cypress Pkwy, continue
onto Gladiolus Dr. Use the left lane to merge onto Summerlin Rd via the ramp
to Ft Myers Bch/Sanibel/CaptivaSummerlin Rd. Continue on Summerlin Rd,

Sanibel has a history as a very safe city and place to visit. In 2017 the
National Council for Home Safety and Security named Sanibel as the 7th safest
city in Florida. The 2018, 2019, and 2020 rankings for the survey do not
include populations lower than 10,000, so Sanibel was excluded.

We have been coming to Sanibel Island for the past 15 years to celebrate our
anniversary in September. We always stay at Song of the Sea. This blue of the
sky backdrop to the romantic little inn on the beach is one of my favorite
photos.

My 10 year old daughter wants to be a marine biologist when she grows up and we
were fortunate to be able to watch the Sea Turtle Research folks come by and
check on a turtle egg nesting site while we were there! My daughter has as in
her absolute glory watching them! What an awesome vacation memory!

captions for them: 1-We took a sunset cruise on the last evening of our stay.
The water was tranquil and absolutely beautiful throughout the sail. We saw
dolphins and an amazing sunset. This is one of my favorite photos we were able
to capture just as the sun was going down. 2-Oh what an incredible Sanibel
evening this was. Check out that moon between us! We experienced 3 awesome
moonrises during our stay at Seaside Inn. We cannot wait to come back!
