Our Story


THE STORY BEHIND OUR COMPANY

During an exchange semester of studies in Singapore (MBA, NUS Business school),
David discovered the essential contribution of migrant domestic workers within
the Singapore society, and their unique struggles, particularly their conditions
of recruitment. He therefore decided to sell his only asset (a small apartment
in France) to setup We Are Caring. Quickly joined by Jinky Amador (they're now
married!), they implemented a debt-free recruitment model for the benefits of
both workers and families with the ultimate goal to enable ethical hiring for
all migrant workers.

‘A WORLD WITH FAIR OPPORTUNITIES FOR ALL’

Our mission is to provide ethical solutions to global workforce deployment for
the benefits of all - the migrant workers, the employers, and the community. We
envision a world in which employment agencies worldwide practice debt-free
recruitment by not charging any placement fees or salary deductions to migrant
workers.
