RENEWABLE ENERGY SOLUTIONS/SOLAR

EMBRACE THE ICLGLOBAL RENEWABLE ENERGY SOLUTIONS 789 million people,
predominantly in sub-Saharan Africa are living without access to electricity,
and hundreds of millions more only have access to very limited or unreliable
electricity. It is estimated that only 28 percent of health facilities have
access to reliable electricity in sub-Saharan Africa, yet energy is critically
needed to keep people connected at home and to run life-saving equipment in
hospitals. If hospitals and local communities don’t have access to power, this
could magnify the human catastrophe and significantly slow the global recovery.
The Special Representative of the UN Secretary-General for Sustainable Energy
for All explained why energy access matters during the coronavirus emergency and
outlined three ways to respond to the COVID-19 emergency. Partner with us by
donating to this our project of renewable energy drive that will see eight rural
communities without any source of energy for the past century electrified with
solar power to save our biodiversity from carbon emissions generated from heavy
generating sets.

CAPACITY BUILDING FOR THE ORPHANS AND VULNERABLE, OUT OF SCHOOL CHILDREN IN
AFRICA

ICLHCD is giving care and capacity to The Africa’s Orphaned and Vulnerable
Generations: Children affected by AIDS shows how the AIDS epidemic continues to
affect children disproportionately and in many harmful ways, making them more
vulnerable than other children, leaving many of them orphaned and threatening
their survival.

CAPACITY BUILDING AND EMPOWERMENT FOR IDP’S

ICLHCD is a capacity building organization and Internally Displaced Persons are
at the centre of our strategic plan. Nigeria currently holds one of the highest
records of internally displaced persons due to insurgency and terrorism mostly
in the Northern part of Nigeria. The southern part is also having their fair
share of the problem.
