We were very pleased with the quality of the food and the service for our large family event. We wanted Italian food and Distinguished Engagements delivered. We also needed food for several vegetarians in the family and they were well accommodated. Staff was friendly, on time and food was fantastic. Everything was delicious and we feasted on leftovers the next day. As a foodie, as a business owner, and as a supporter of area/local businesses, I fully recommend D.E. for your catering needs. Read more Lisa Kavalieratos Smallwood May 30, 2022 We contracted with Distinguished Engagements to cater our daughter's wedding on May 21, 2022, at Graves Mountain Farm and it may have been one of the best decisions we made for the entire wedding. Theresa was a consummate professional offering endless advice and counsel as we navigated our first wedding as a family. She was open and honest with us regarding our options and how that would affect the final price, there were never any surprises regarding cost. On the wedding day, her staff was a joy to have around. They were efficient, pleasant, and attentive. The food was excellent, we are still hearing from people about how good the food was, the appetizers have particularly inspired rave reviews! My daughter's wedding cake was gorgeous and everyone, to a person, who had a piece has told me it was not only the best wedding cake they've ever eaten but the best cake they've ever had period. My husband and I can not possibly say enough good things about Theresa or her company, you absolutely cannot go wrong with them, you are in the very best hands!!! Read more Shawn Michael Bianchini May 28, 2022 We went to a wedding catered by this company. They did a PHENOMENAL job! Food was well seasoned, the staff was professional and polite. They also stayed out of the way and didn’t make their presence obvious. The bartenders were friendly and remembered names. They served drinks well without over serving the guests. The plates and flatware were beautiful and felt like they were high quality and not cheep mass produced restaurant supplies. The attention to detail on every level was unlike 90% of the caterers I’ve seen (and I have worked the industry my entire adult life and experienced many different companies presentations) If you’re in the area and looking for a caterer, this would be an excellent option to use! This was one of the most delicious and well done meals that I have ever experienced. The food was exquisitely prepared and presented, the taste was incredible and the wine pairings fantastic. She was able to accommodated my gluten allergy without missing a beat. I cannot more highly recommend Distinguished Engagements! If you want to treat yourself,look no further. We made sure to hire her after she coordinated my brothers wedding flawlessly. She handled a stressful caterer cancellation (5 days before the big day)with several option plans within 40 minutes. She took the stress off of our families during the day and for that we cannot thank her and her team enough. When it came time for my wedding there was no question who I wanted to cater. I got so many compliments on the food and people kept telling me how amazing the wait staff was.
