GRAPHICAL USER INTERFACE IN NETXMS: MORE FUNCTIONALITY AND GUIDANCE

About twenty years ago, when we were just starting out with our NetXMS project,
the commonly held view was that only non-technical users needed GUIs (graphical
user interfaces). Technical users like network administrators were perfectly
content with using text-based interfaces for searching, uploading and modifying
data. We know that some IT professionals still prefer to use the command line —
however, we are enthusiastic about graphical interfaces for technical users.
