Thanks to the Illinois State Police, there is now a very easy way through a
special website to report corruption in the Illinois government.


WHAT IS ILLINOIS FAMOUS FOR?

Of course, like any other state Illinois has some things it's famous for. After
thinking about it for a little bit, I came up with my own list. I thought it
would be important to share it for this story.

GOVERNMENT CORRUPTION IS A SERIOUS ISSUE IN ILLINOIS

With our state's history with the Mafia and the shady stuff going on in Chicago,
it would be very difficult to avoid government corruption. It's become a big
joke but in reality, it's very sad. Illinois is in serious financial trouble
because all these officials are on the take. All they care about is stuffing
their wallets with dirty money.

IT'S HARD TO FIGHT GOVERNMENT CORRUPTION IN ILLINOIS

Because government corruption has been part of Illinois politics for so long,
it's really hard to fight. The dirty officials have so many people in their
pockets, that there's not much you can do as a citizen. Luckily, over the past
few years, the police are actually winning the war and many have ended up in
jail.

NEW EASY WAY TO REPORT GOVERNMENT CORRUPTION IN ILLINOIS

Now, reporting on government corruption in Illinois is really easy. It's at the
tip of your fingers. The Illinois State Police has started a new easy website
where you can share any of your thoughts about illegal issues with our local
leaders.

According to dailyherald.com,

If this boy made this face at a dog in Normal, Illinois, he would go straight to
jail, but Normal isn't the only Illinois town or city that has ab-normal laws
about dogs. Apparently, it is also illegal for a dog to bark more than 15
minutes in Northbrook, IL, you can't give a lighted cigar to your dog in Zion,
or a shot of whiskey to your dog anywhere in Illinois.

See this girl holding snowballs that she is about to launch at her parents?
Well, if she did that in Mount Pulaski, Illinois, she would be in big trouble,
because it is against the law for girls to throw snowballs, BUT it's perfectly
fine for a boy to do it. Sexist much?!? I could not find any info on how or why
this ordinance in Mount Pulaski, Illinois came to fruition, but I did find
plenty of proof saying it is actually true...and still on the law books.

maybe they just really don't like bird poop littering their beautiful Downtown?

I feel bad talking smack about one of Rockford's neighbors, but in the 1940's
things got a little crazy there. Wildlifearticles.co.uk says; "In the 1940s the
small town of Kirkland, Illinois proposed a ban on the presence of bees and
beehives. The ordinance, created by the village board, aimed to keep bees at
least 500 feet away from all residences and 200 feet away from all roads." The
article also says that at the time the law was introduced it was unclear how
officials planned to enforce it. I think it's safe to say bees are free to live
there now. Right, Kirkland?
