Minnesota and Vault Health have teamed up to offer free at-home COVID-19 saliva

Taladafil

Taladafil blocks an enzyme that breaks down chemicals that keep the arteries in
your penis dilated, so it helps keep the blood flowing to your penis.

APOMORPHINE

Apomorphine is a medication that stimulates both libido and erections and it
works synergistically with Tadalafil. Erectile function may be improved for up
to 36 hours following a single dose.

Oxytocin

Oxytocin is a peptide hormone that is naturally produced during orgasm and with
strong social and romantic connections. Taking it before sex increases that
feeling of connection and also enhances the senstions of orgasm.

Bremelanotide

Bremelanotide is a melanocortin receptor agonist, and the recepters stimulated
by this peptide have been shown to drive arousal and libido.

Log on for a virtual visit with a Vault test supervisor; they will show you how
to collect your saliva sample. You must not eat, drink, smoke, or chew anything
for 30 minutes before your testing session.

Ship your sample to the lab using a prepaid UPS package.

Get your result 24 to 48 hours after your sample arrives at the lab.

testing, at no cost, to any person who feels they need a test.

A FEW NOTES BEFORE YOU GET STARTED







This at-home saliva test is offered at no cost from the State of New Mexico, and
you will not be asked for your credit card information. If the system does ask
you for payment, this is an error; close your browser and try again. 

You will be asked for insurance information if you have it, but it is not
required to test at home. These saliva tests are offered at zero cost to you.

YOU WILL NOT BE CHARGED

We recently added functionality to allow patients without an email address to
create Vault accounts by creating a username. In addition to patients that
currently do not have an email address, the functionality will also allow
patients with shared email addresses to create an account with multiple
usernames connecting to one email address.

If you share an email address with another family member and need a new account,
please select the "I share an email address" option to connect a username to an
email address. If you created a Vault account prior to the username addition,
your username is your email address. You will be able to login per the process
you used in the past. If you are creating a new account and you have an email
address, please proceed with creating your account with your email address.

YOU WILL NEED AN EMAIL ADDRESS

A PHOTO ID IS REQUIRED

ORDER YOUR TEST



Vault requires a photo ID so that the test supervisor can confirm the identity
of the person taking the test on the Zoom call.

Any photo ID will work, whether it is government-issued or from your place of
work or school.

Frequently Asked Questions about At-home Saliva Testing

How do I get a test?

To request a home saliva test kit, visit this page and click Order a Test. You
will be asked to give more information about the person who needs the test,
including their name, phone number, and birth date. You will also be asked for
your insurance information, if you have it. The test will be sent to you at no
cost, even if you don’t have insurance. 

Do I need to enter my credit card information?

No. At-home saliva tests are offered at zero cost for all New Mexicans. If the
website asks for your credit card, close out your browser and try again in an
incognito browser.

Do I really need an email address for each of my children and family?

No, this is not a requirement anymore. We recently added functionality to allow
patients without an email address to create Vault accounts by creating a
username. In addition to patients that currently do not have an email address,
the functionality will also allow patients with shared email addresses to create
an account with multiple usernames connecting to one email address.

Will Vault ship to a PO Box?

No. UPS cannot ship COVID-19 test kits to a PO Box address. 

I got my test in the mail. What do I do next?

Download Zoom to connect with a testing supervisor. Then log into Vault’s
virtual waiting room anytime during their testing hours. You must not eat,
drink, smoke, or chew anything for 30 minutes before your testing session. Hours
of operation for test supervision are:
 
Sunday – Thursday 5 a.m. MST –⁠ 5 p.m. MST
Friday – Saturday 5 a.m. MST –⁠ 3 p.m. MST

After you have collected your saliva, ship your test kit to the lab using the
prepaid UPS package.


Can I take this test without doing a Zoom call with a Vault test supervisor?

No. In order to get your results, you must collect your saliva sample while
being observed by a Vault test supervisor. 

Do I need to make an appointment with a test supervisor to collect my sample at
home?

Just log into Vault’s virtual waiting room anytime during their testing hours.
No appointment is needed. 

Can I do an at-home saliva test more than once?

Yes. You can order another test at any time.  

Should I take the test right away, or save it?

You should take the test right away, even if you do not have symptoms. There is
no reason to save your test for later; you can simply request another one if you
need it.

Is my DNA collected during this test?

No. The only purpose of a COVID-19 test is to determine whether you are
infected.

Do I need to put my saliva sample in the fridge?

No. Temperature will not affect the accuracy of your test. 

Can I use USPS or FedEx to send my sample to the lab?

No, you must use UPS. Use this UPS locator tool to find a convenient UPS drop
off point for your sample. DO NOT drop your sample at a pharmacy UPS drop box —
only use a UPS physical location or UPS direct drop box.
