MEDICAL CO-PAYS & EXPENSES Our belief is no individual should have to make the choice between treatment or paying bills, we will pay fully or partially cancer patients, survivors medical bills related to their treatment or cancer diagnosis. Population(s) Served MENTAL HEALTH AND WELLNESS Depression affects approximately 1 in 4 cancer patients - this is a staggering statistic that we refuse to accept and one we strongly believe can be reduced or eliminated by supporting wellness care for cancer patients, co-survivors, and caregivers. Population(s) Served LIVING EXPENSES Data shows that financial toxicity is a huge concern for cancer survivors, with cancer survivors significantly more likely to have debt and to declare bankruptcy, compared to people without cancer. We aim to protect the livelihoods of people affected by cancer so they can thrive through their journey and afterwards and reduce stress that comes with needing to continue to provide for their family and pay bills through treatement. GOALS & STRATEGY SOURCE: Self-reported by organization Learn about the organization's key goals, strategies, capabilities, and progress. CHARTING IMPACT Four powerful questions that require reflection about what really matters - results. WHAT IS THE ORGANIZATION AIMING TO ACCOMPLISH? The Atrium Foundation aims to protect the livelihood of people affected by cancer by paying in full or partially their living, medical, or mental health and wells bills. We do this because financial toxicity is an issue that negatively impacts the well-being of people experiencing a cancer diagnosis. We support cancer patients, survivors, or caregivers, of any gender, age, and cancer type. Our Goals - support 20 people affected by cancer year over year - raise $35,000 year of year to provide, at least on average, $1,300 per beneficiary WHAT ARE THE ORGANIZATION'S KEY STRATEGIES FOR MAKING THIS HAPPEN? In order for us to meet our goals, we have planned the following strategies: 1. Source people affected by cancer from social media 2. Source people affected by cancer from Oncology Centers 3. Sponsorships from at least 3 corporations to contribute $5,000 or more per year of sponsorship 4. Partner with at least 3 corporations to raise at least $5,000 during national charitable giving days like Random Acts of Kindness Day and Giving Tuesday WHAT ARE THE ORGANIZATION'S CAPABILITIES FOR DOING THIS?
