UNEARTHING BURIED TALENTS

Time. We each get the same amount, don't we? At least, the same number of
moments in a given day. What a gift! But it's not exactly a gift, is it? It's an
investment. Each of us are given 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Much of that
time we invest in our occupation, in our families, in community service, and in
recreation. And all of these things are important. But a spark of the Creative
nature of God exists in every one of us. One day we will all stand before Him,
and He will ask what we did with the talent He gave us. What will you answer
Him?

Leaves are Falling

Here in the Sunny South, the leaves are just starting to change colors. such
changes signify the death of the leaves, and that’s sad. But it’s also
beautiful, because God makes even this beautiful. It’s a normal part of the
cycle of the seasons for the trees, and it’s interesting to see how the trees

September Embers

It’s getting on to that season again when we gather around a roaring fire. Well,
here in the South that doesn’t happen for a few more months, though there is an
occasional chill in the air. This morning it was 63° F and we actually discussed
turning on the central heat.

Back to School and Other Stuff

It seems that for school kids and homeschools, the summer has come and gone.
School is starting, for public school, private school, and most homeschools,
too. But here in the South, somebody should tell the sun, which is making it hot
enough to trigger Excessive Heat Advisories every day with our Alexa Dot.
