The American Cheese Society offers two industry certifications: ACS Certified

   had a record number of applicants, 94, and received applications from
   cheesemongers, cheesemakers, students, chefs, and brokers! The
   @cheeseeducationfoundation and American Cheese Society Scholarship Committee
   were thrilled to be able to award 24 scholarships to the ACS 2024 Annual
   Conference, including 15 full scholarships and 9 partial scholarships - a
   total of $42,500 awarded.
   
   We are deeply grateful for the support and generosity of those who have
   contributed to the American Cheese Education Foundation. Your donations play
   a crucial role in helping us achieve our mission and make a meaningful impact

   Adam Moskowitz received one of the Meritorious Service Awards!
   
   From his nomination: "There is no one in the US cheese industry who has taken
   as personal or as passionate a role as Adam in my own growth and
   opportunities in the world of cheesemongering, and I know without a doubt

   into the Guilde Internationale des Fromagers are just a few highlights.

   community nationally but especially in the Pacific Northwest and his time
   owning a shop in Portland helped lead that city to a true cheese destination.
   His dedication to education extended beyond the counter with events he put on
   like the Beer and Cheese Festival and his book Cider and Cheese. His guidance
   from behind the counter led to more savvy cheese consumers and his mentorship
   has even spawned one of the city’s prominent cheese distributors. Judging,
   committee services, and as a panel speaker are just a few ways that Steve
   continues to contribute to ACS. His dedication to our industry and to
