WE DON’T HAVE TO BE STUCK WITH THIS

As a way to thank the city, jump-start the economy, grab attention + clients,
have fun and get not gross, NYC ad agencies, employers, and local and global
NYC-loving icons and brands will have the chance in 2024 to sponsor πŸ’΅ and
deep-clean 🧼 🫧 individual NYC MTA subway stations close to them, freeing the
city of ~20 million pieces of blackened, century-old gum and grime.

NYC IS A BRAND. NYC NEEDS A RE-BRAND.




WHAT

β€’ A viral and fun publicity campaign around the financial sponsoring and
deep-cleaning of NYC MTA subway stations by ad agencies, corporations, brands
and icons.

β€’ The removal of NYC’s β€œGum Floor”: ~20 million pieces of gum and grime via new,
powerful + cost-efficient cleaning equipment

β€’ A thank you to the city for getting us through the pandemic.

β€’ A re-birth of our home and it’s economy.




WHO

100 NYC ad agencies (lead by one β€œhero agency”), 100 global brands, 100 global
icons connected to NYC, and 172 NYC corporations, working alongside the city and
state of NY, the MTA and us, NYCGFΒ© (more on us below).

SpaceX, a partner, will provide new, powerful and cost-efficient cleaning
equipment (ice-blasting and high-temperature power-washing), which will be
donated to the MTA.




WHERE

NYC’s 472 MTA platforms, stairwells, and entrances.




WHEN

We’re aiming our Intro Blast at Spring 2024 πŸ’¦πŸŒ· at a special location. The
campaign would roll out over a few years, with timed and publicized β€œblasts”
happening every month.




WHY

β€’ To bring massive global attention to us (NYC ad agencies) our sponsors, and to
NYC.

β€’ To help NYC + State governments and the MTA, who are $85 billion/$200
billion/$2 billion in debt.

β€’ To jump-start the economy and avoid NYC’s real estate and banking sectors
collapsing due to vacancy.

β€’ To bring dignity back to the 3.2 million people who use the MTA every day.

β€’ To make NYC not the 2nd-dirtiest city in the world.




WHAAAAT

The current price of [inefficiently] surface cleaning a station is ~$50,000 USD,
which includes the transport of toxic chemicals to New Jersey (sorry, NJ).
Nothing changes.

Working with SpaceX, we’ll be able to actually clean and transform a station for
around $15,000 or less, w/o toxic chemicals or a trip to NJ (sorry, NJ).




WHOA.

75% of each sponsor’s $15,000 donation will go to the chosen station. The
remaining 25% will go to the least-funded, furthest-out station, ensuring total
blastage ??

Individuals will be able to win tickets to special red carpet, underground
performances and events in newly-cleaned stations (Seinfeld, Jay-Z, Julliard,
NYFW, Ted Talks).
