Many underprivileged children lack access to quality education due to various
challenges such as poverty, lack of infrastructure, and limited resources.


ABOUT US

Welcome to Star Kids Initiative, a Nairobi-based community organisation
dedicated to empowering underserved children to unlock their full potential
through access to quality, inclusive, and equitable education. Our mission is
fueled by four foundational pillars:

At Star Kids Initiative, we are committed to transforming the lives of
underserved children through our four foundational pillars. Each pillar
represents a core aspect of our mission, driving our efforts to empower young
learners and create lasting change in their communities

LIFE SKILLS DEVELOPMENT:

In partnership with local schools, we cultivate 21st-century life skills among
children aged 6-18 through engaging school clubs. To date, this pillar has
positively impacted 600 children, helping them develop the essential skills
needed for success in today’s world.

SCHOLARSHIP FUND:

Enabled by partnerships with individuals, NGOs, and corporate sponsors, our
Scholarship Fund provides full secondary school scholarships to deserving
children who qualify for secondary school but face financial barriers. With 6
alumni and 4 current beneficiaries, this pillar ensures that promising students
have the opportunity to pursue their education without financial constraints.

INFRASTRUCTURE SUPPORT:

We believe in creating conducive learning environments for children. Through
renovation and building projects in schools, our Infrastructure Support Pillar
has completed projects in 4 schools, benefiting 5500 children. By improving
facilities, we aim to enhance the quality of education and overall well-being of
students.

At Star Kids Initiative, we advocate for education for all through various
channels. Our active blog on our website, participation in media forums, and
engagement in conferences amplify the voices of marginalised children who are
