On this site you will find details of my retro computer collection, which is based around the Acorn BBC Microcomputer, and the Acorn Archimedes series of machines that were popular in the 80s and 90s. I’m also planning on covering my various projects installing and upgrading these machines. This is primarily to remind me what I’ve done, should I need to repeat it again in the future, but I hope others trying similar things will find the information useful. I’ve started work on this site in mid August, and so it is going to take a while to fully populate it. So things may look a little empty here for a bit. ABOUT I’m Gareth, and I’ve always had an interest in making and repairing things. As much as I would like to have a big garage or workshop to tinker with cars, bikes and other big mechanical things; I live in Central London where space is at a premium. Retro computing is one of the few hobbies of a suitable scale you can enjoy in a London apartment!
