SOLUTIONS FOR IMMEDIATE ACTION

As physicians, when patients look to us for help, our first step is to diagnose
the problem and then determine a treatment plan. Similarly, with Ontario’s
health-care system, we see the issues. We know the diagnosis because we live it
every day.


EXPAND TEAM-BASED CARE

Every Ontarian, no matter where they live, should have a well co-ordinated
health-care team supporting them when and where they need it.


LET DOCTORS BE DOCTORS

Reduce unnecessary forms so Ontario’s doctors can spend more time caring for
patients.


TACKLE HOSPITAL OVERCROWDING

Far too many Ontarians are languishing in hospital beds when they could be
discharged and better cared for elsewhere.


BUILD A CENTRALIZED REFERRAL SYSTEM

Reduce wait times by making it easier for family doctors to refer their patients
