AVC will contract with the Arizona Commerce Authority to manage $87 million out of a total $111 million allocated to Arizona by the U.S Treasury through the SSBCI 2.0 program authorized by the 2021 American Rescue Plan Act. aVC’s primary objective is to catalyze private investment in Arizona based start-ups and small businesses, and has set a goal to generate $10 in private investment for every $1 invested through its programs.
