TABLEAU PRODUCT USAGE DATA

TABLEAU PRODUCTS SEND TWO CATEGORIES OF USAGE DATA TO TABLEAU. SEE THE
INFORMATION BELOW ON THESE CATEGORIES, AND HOW YOU CAN MANAGE THEM.

PRODUCT USAGE DATA

Product Usage Data includes data about how customers are using our products, so
we can understand how certain features are working, and so we can improve them
in the future. If you prefer not to send Product Usage Data back to Tableau, you
can opt-out during installation, at run time (requires restart), or in an
organization-wide deployment:

 * Changing Product Usage Data options for Tableau Desktop
 * Changing Product Usage Data options for Tableau Server

BASIC PRODUCT DATA

Basic Product Data is information that Tableau needs to make your products run
and to provide timely security updates to you. If your organization does not
want to send Basic Product Data back to Tableau, you can block this at the
machine or organizational level:

 * Block sending of Basic Product Data for Tableau Desktop
 * Block sending of Basic Product Data for an enterprise

All Product Data is collected and handled according to the Tableau Privacy
Statement.
