ENERGY DATA COLLECTION MADE EASY AND SECURE FOR SMART FACTORIES.



COMPACT

Modbus TCP and Profinet do not require extra hardware. The software for reading
from the field and transferring to the server is ready.

ROBUST

Thanks to the maintenance-free mini UPS inside the unit, it shuts down safely
and notifies the server when it shuts down.

HIGH CAPACITY

When network connection is interrupted, EDT starts recording in its buffer with
a capacity of 50 GB. Data will be sent automatically.

BRAND INDEPENDENT

Energy Analyzers of different brands are available in the library. Analyzers
that do not exist can be easily added via the UI.

AUTOSCAN

With its automatic Modbus scanning algorithm, EDT finds the known analyzers in
the field and adds them to the project.

PLUG & PLAY

There are ready-made dashboard panels and can be used immediately. Custom design
panels can be easily added.

INTEGRATION TO PLCS

EDT can poll data from PLCs that can be configured via UI. New signals can be
integrated by the addition of sensors and PLC.

HOT SWAP

Hot swap redundancy of EDT units will be available at Q1 2024.

ZERO TRUST IIOT FOR INDUSTRIAL DATA COLLECTION.



ONE WAY PASS

Cyber-attacks against OT cause serious damages. It is impossible to reach OT
Network from IT Network or Cloud over PROTODIODE.

DO IT YOURSELF!

1- INSTALL MODBUS NETWORK

Regardless of the brand of your Energy Analyzers, connect them to the Modbus RTU
line over Modbus Gateway, give each of them a Slave ID and set the communication
parameters.

2- CONNECT EDT TO MODBUS

Connect EDT to the Gateway over TCP/IP and let it auto-scan and configure the
analyzers by the factory-made library. Just give names to the configured
analyzers.

3- CONNECT EDT TO NETWORK

Connect the other ethernet port of EDT to the local network or directly to the
internet. For on-prem database and dashboards we supply virtualized OS and all
software is ready to be used.

4- INTEGRATE PLC'S

With the configuration user interface, it is possible to import PLC data to EDT
and match it with energy data on dashboards.
