ignition sources. </p>
<p>Next, the presentation will delve into a selected real dust explosion case study, which will be analyzed to identify the root causes and contributing factors leading to the incident. The case study will be a real-life event from
the recent past, illustrating the potential consequences of inadequate safety measures and negligence. </p>
<p>The core focus of the presentation will be on the lessons extracted from the dust explosion case study and how these are interpreted in NFPA 652 Standard on Fundamentals of Combustible Dust. These lessons will cover a range
of topics, including dust hazard analysis, risk management, facility design, engineering controls, preventative maintenance, and emergency response protocols. </p>
<p>The presentation will conclude with an exploration of best practices and preventative strategies to mitigate dust explosion hazards. Utilizing insights gained, the presenter will offer practical recommendations and guidelines
that industries can implement to enhance safety standards and minimize the likelihood of dust explosions.</p>
