5 MICROSOFT TEAMS TIPS YOU MAY NOT KNOW

We have put together some really useful tips on how to get more from Microsoft
Teams, if you need any help with your IT infrastructure please don’t hesitate to

1. Scheduling meetings from within Teams
You can schedule meetings from within the Microsoft Teams desktop or mobile
application. From within a team or channel, you click the small camera icon to
meet now or using the same icon you can also choose to schedule a meeting as you
would in Outlook.

From within the teams dashboard you will see this icon in the top right hand
corner:



From within the Calendar dashboard you will see this icon also in the top right
hand corner:



2. Save Messages and bookmark your conversations
This is a really neat and handy piece of functionality which allows you to save
a message sent to you by another Microsoft teams user all by clicking the 3 dots
‘…’ next to the message:



 

Then you can recall all your saved messages by clicking on your profile picture
top right and selecting ‘Saved’ or possibly quicker would be to type in the
command bar /saved.



This is a really easy and simple feature that many users who have Teams don’t
use. Try it and see your life improve

3. Navigation Buttons (< >)
The simple tips are always the best, check this one out!



When I first started using Teams, i loved it so much, but there was also some
challenges in regards to juggling tasks firing in. I found myself popping in and
out of chats. The navigation buttons were my saviour, allowing me to move
forward and back between the recent areas i have been. Give it a go, its dead
easy to use and saves you some time on Microsoft Teams.

4. Zoom in and out just like in your Browser!

All you need to do is press ‘CTRL+’ to zoom in, and ‘CTRL-‘ to zoom out.

If you need to zoom in on that important document it saves you having to
download it fully before you respond.

5. We can integrate Microsoft Teams with ANY phone system.

Exactly what it says on the tin, we can provide your integration with your

rather then Microsofts high fees and limited functionality. if you would like to

This is the key pay you should see within your Microsoft team dial pad. This is
easily accessed by hitting ‘calls’ on the left menu.

Rydal Communications made contact with us regarding an offer they had on
investing in to a new telephone system. Albeit a little apprehensive due to it
being a big switch for us as a business, the offer seemed very good so we agreed
to go ahead. Since our commitment to Rydal I can honestly say the process has
been extremely seamless. All departments have been very communicative and kept
us up to date with installations and switch over dates etc. Upon install at both
offices we had an engineer called Wayne conducting the work, Wayne was extremely
helpful and went above and beyond to ensure everything was explained and working
correctly. A very good, stress free service delivered and of course a great

We went with Rydal for a new telephone install and are completely regretting it.
The price quoted is not the price being charged as they have now added on lots
of extras that are essential, yet not mentioned in the initial quote. We've been
going backwards and forwards for months trying to resolve this and are just met
with a take it or leave it attitude.

We have now been with Rydall communications for nearly 5 years. I can not fault
their customer service and levels of quality. The staff are a pleasure to deal
with. If on the rare occasion we do have a problem they are always on hand to
deal with it. I would highly recommend using rydall as your communications

Never given a 1 star review before! Very mislead by sales rep who promised a
certain price point but this was not delivered. Rep has now left the company but
Rydal will not take any responsibility. Whilst they do sort out issues
eventually, it takes far too long to get things sorted properly and you have to
keep chasing them. Phone diverts not actioned properly during key trading
periods. Not really the type of company we like to do business with
unfortunately. We have 3 years left of our 5 year contract and they have quoted
us an obscene amount to part company. Proceed with caution, make sure you are
aware of the Grenke rental charges and annual insurance premiums which are
automatically extracted from your bank accounts.

Following a terrible experience with another VOIP company, Rydal was a breath of
fresh air! They were quick, helpful and polite. The system worked immediately it
was plugged in. Good quality handsets and almost immediate replies to any
queries. Add to that the fact that they were one of the least expensive of all

Our small conservation/heritage charity, The Sherwood Forest Trust, upgraded our
phone system and broadband to Rydal Comms in January 2019. The service they
provide has been very stable, and any technical support has been swift and very
thorough. I give special thanks to Josh Codd and Tim Prentice who have helped us

I was worried by the concept of a VOIP system when signing the agreements with
Rydal but i'm now glad to have taken the step. The install was carried out
professionally and I was impressed with the service. The service department are
supportive in dealing with the setup of the system with the huge range of
functionality on offer. We did have a few concerns with billing but these are
now fully resolved and our charges are what was agreed in the beginning - Thank

assistance and nothing is too much trouble, We have had no issues with them in

Be very careful of this company - there are lots of extra call charges and
maintenance introduced down the line which are all hidden within the small
print. Rydal were providing a good service at first but now that there are
queries and credits requested for over charging they have become extremely slow

The team at Rydal installed our phone system in June 2016 not only does it work
far better than than the old one but saved us over £150 pm and we experience
less down time due to disruption of service. We were impressed with the way they
handled everything from consultation to installation so when we experienced some
IT issues we contacted them first. Their knowledge and efforts have saved us a
great deal of time, expense and we have a fully working IT system tailored to
our needs. Phil Kernick, our business manager is always at hand to deal with any
issues we encounter and they are resolved efficiently and promptly and therefore
we would recommend them to anyone.

Had a visit last week from Carly Rose our new Account Director from Rydal
Communications. So glad that she popped in. She identified some areas for
improvements and upgrades to our service that will not only significantly

Running a large school means I have very little time for searching through the
myriad phone deals out in the market. The team at Rydal removed all the stresses
of the selection process by giving professional, solution based advice
throughout. They were flexible to our changing needs and nothing was too much of

When our current internet and phone providers could not help when our phone
system went down, Rydal Communications stepped up to the mark.Not only was
organizing the new system with Stefan easy and to our needs but everything he
promised was delivered on time, we had a new phone system installed the next
day.Rydal Communications also have a perfect customer support team, and deal
with any problems within a timely fashion, you can also check on the progress
where it gives you the name of the technician who has been allocated your
problem.

GDPR guidelines as my own company has no relationship with these people. If you
receive the same marketing SPAM please report them to the ICO immediately to
help instigate the minimum £10,000 fine.

Working with our Account Manager, Phil Kernick, is always a pleasure. Phil is
swift to get back to me with queries and is always very helpful and pleasant to
chat to.I have provided 4 stars because we have had issues with support in the
past where it is sometimes slower than expected or it takes a lot of effort to
get a resolution. On the whole the service we get is very good.Since moving to
Rydal our Sales teams phone lines have been much improved over the previous
service we used and when moving premises their team were on-site to assist with
the move on the day which made everything much easier.

my experience with this company has been terrible so far. I work for a company
call Roofcare that used to be with a company Rydal bought out. since this has
happened, phone line are always going down.My phone in my office had been down
for months and nothing was happening, after raising this issue multiple times I
ended up moving offices as this was an easier solution then trying to get
someone from Rydal to sort this.I am only just writing a review now as are phone
line are down yet again and currently trying to run a company from a
mobile.please noteIf someone want to contact us to sort these issues you will
have to call are mobiles as are phone lines are currently down, sorry for

Having moved from BT due to continual billing issues getting a fixed contract
seemed a good idea. Rydal came recommended, all seemed good.Engineers visited
and on their recommendation on what was needed we went ahead.Have had nothing
but hassle since. Equipment that they installed keeps failing. Getting issues
resolved takes forever.Free professional voice recording is now chargeable as
the "lady we have is on maternity leave" and nobody else can do it.2 hour
ticketing system to resolve an issue just never happens.Very very poor customer
service.100% would not recommend.Seems to be an industry problem, now looking
for another supplier.

Got stitched up with the phone system. Price for broadband for business was
excellent, little realised that Rydall Communication slipped in a 6 year phone
system when I was told it would be 3 years deal ! Obviously the info was added
later.01/09/2021: Nearly 6 months on and still no further. Price stated on
contract is not what is being charged. Cost of Hardware added to the original
contract and asked to pay separately, thus effectively paying twice for
hardware.Question's raised do not seemed to be answered directly, no voice
recording ever supplied either. Updates to follow

OVERALL pleased with the service from Rydall, one key contact throughout set up
stage. A few teething issues and a little miscommunication at the start over
what the phone systems can offer but dealt with by the end of the set up process

I’m a firm believer all feedback is important good or bad.Our overall experience
with Business Consultant Stefan was nothing but a true professional. We had a
couple of meetings with him and a couple of telephone calls too.So why the 4
start review you may ask.Unfortunately for Stefan his colleague Winston, who
he’s a lovely fella and I’m sure means well. Came out with him on his second
visit and pulled out every sales tactic in the book to try and get us over the
line. Look I’m in sales and I get it to a certain degree, but know your
audience.Now prior to this visit we had already planned to sign up, due felt it
was everything we was looking for. However Winston’s Techniques were a bit over
powering almost double glazing like. This but doubt into our minds and then lead
us to not sign up on the day and then take a further appointment with your
competitors HiHi. Which then lead us to sign up with up with them instead.Stefan
is a massive credit to your business even the way he held himself, even when I
told him about our decision. As I said before a true professional.If I hadn’t
have had this service from him, this would have probably been a 1-2 star
review.Hopefully lessons can be learnt here.Still wish you great success and you
still have a great product.

broadband at our Funeral homes, and we've never looked back!We looked at the
different phones they offered and we chose Grandstream! phone system, and the
phones are amazing! Its everything and more that we ever wanted. The phones can

We have recently switched our provider to Rydal Communications and would highly

We have just joined Rydal and so far we have been happy with their service. The
engineer Derek was really nice and set up all the phone systems with minimal
disruption and he gave some brief advice on the benefits included with the
phones and what can and cannot be done.The office support Co-ordinator Sharon

queries, which she resolve very quickly.

So glad we switched to Rydal some 12 months ago. We had an issue last week
whereby we lost all connectivity. Andy S took up our case and liaised with our
IT support company to find the source of the problem. Andy then brought in Chris
(an engineer from Rydal) who attended the site and got us back up and running.
So nice to be kept informed as to what's going on at each step of the way. They
are a pleasure to deal with and we would thoroughly recommend them.
