WHY SUPPORT KIDZNOTES?

Kidznotes is so much more than a music program.

Kidznotes is a music-for-social change program that engages young people's
interest in music and fosters the development of their musical skills,
confidence, discipline, self-reliance, sense of place & leadership within their
communities, and overall character. Past participants have grown into
exceptional leaders, as evidenced by our very first class of Kindergarten-aged
Mozarts students who are now in college and nearing career age. One former
student is studying music at Johns Hopkins under a full scholarship, and all of
the Program's graduates are empowered, successful young people now pursuing
music and other worthy passions at the collegiate level.

Without Kidznotes, sparks of potential may not get fanned into the flames of
brilliance and leadership that we seek to create in our community.

I WOULD LIKE TO:

 * SEE THE POTENTIAL IMPACT OF MY DONATION

Want more details about your donation to Kidznotes? Or do you want to support
a specific piece of our program? Below are the items essential for our
program to provide students with the highest level of musical instruction.
Please let us know if you want to help us achieve these goals.

$3,752 - A FULL YEAR OF MUSIC EDUCATION FOR ONE STUDENT
Sponsor one student’s entire year of music education! Your donation will
ensure they receive a quality instrument, access to Kidznotes’ full
curriculum, participation in an ensemble, and multiple opportunities to
   perform in the community.

   $7,211 - TEACHING ARTIST SALARY
Kidznotes’ teaching artists are the core of our program, and their dedication
to our student’s excellence is unsurpassed! Offering compensation
commensurate with our teachers’ extensive experience ensures that we recruit
and retain the most talented individuals while also providing a living wage
   salary.

   $4,500 - GUEST ARTIST RESIDENCIES
Each year, talented guest artists engage and inspire our students through
interactive lessons and performances. Our guest artists act as role models by
leading workshops and masterclasses where they play music with and for our
students. These guest artists also provide fresh perspectives on different
musical genres and the music industry at large.

   $1,500 - ONE GRADUATE SCHOLARSHIP
Provide one Kidznotes Graduate with a scholarship toward their continued
education and leadership development after they complete our program and
   graduate from high school.

    * $299,167 - STAFF SALARIESKidznotes’ core staff members are vital to the
organization’s success. Their work ethic enables Kidznotes to build our
student musicians into dynamic future community leaders.

PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT FOR KIDZNOTES STAFF: Investing in Kidznotes’ staff
is a gift that benefits the organization for years into the future:

    * $5,000: Our goal is to enroll our Executive Director, Shana Tucker, in
Harvard’s Spring 2023 Driving Nonprofit Performance and Innovation
program, a program attended by many Triangle-based leaders through the
      Harvard 100 program.

    * $2,950: Leadership Triangle’s Transforming Leaders program is another

building the next generation of leaders through extensive training and by
      creating community connections.

   Teaching Artist Training

    * $250 (x 8) NC Music Educators Association Annual Conference: This annual
conference is an ideal opportunity for our program staff to participate in
the most cutting-edge music education and curriculum development program
      available in North Carolina.

    * $70 (x13) Spanish in the Classroom: A resource for our Teaching Artists

      languages.

 * MAIL IN MY DONATION

Checks may be made payable to Kidznotes and mailed to:
   Kidznotes

 * DONATE HIGH-VALUE INSTRUMENTS OR COLLECTIBLES

You can support Kidznotes by donating an instrument or other high-value
collectible item (e.g., art)! An instrument is considered high value if the
estimated value at the time of donation meets or exceeds the below minimum
value (for applicable on instrument type):

    * Violin, Viola, Cello, Bass: $2,500

    * Flute, Clarinet, Oboe, Trumpet, Trombone, French Horn, Tuba: $800

You may designate your gift of an instrument to a specific ensemble or chair.
Simply note as such in the donation form comment field.

Please complete this simple form to notify us of your interest in donating an
instrument or other high-value item, including your preferred contact
information, and a Kidznotes representative will contact you soon!

 * DONATE A VEHICLE

You can support Kidznotes by donating a vehicle (i.e. motor vehicle, boat, or
   airplane).

Kidznotes is a 501(c)3 tax-exempt organization (TIN: 27-0446845), and your
donation is tax-deductible within the guidelines of U.S. law. Kidznotes
appropriately applies IRS guidelines, typically using the donated vehicle in
our regular program activities or selling the donated vehicle for proceeds
used to fund our programs, and will provide the necessary written
acknowledgment of receipt of the qualified vehicle donation with a claim
   value of $500 or more.

Please complete this simple form to notify us of your interest in donating a
vehicle, including your preferred contact information, and a Kidznotes
   representative will contact you soon.

 * DONATE REAL ESTATE

Whether it's a current home, vacation or rental property, undeveloped land,
or another investment, you can support Kidznotes by donating real estate
assets. Real estate held for more than one year is a highly appreciated asset
and results in significant capital gains tax exposure upon sale. By donating
long-term appreciated real estate directly to Kidznotes, you can maximize
both the impact of your gift and your tax deduction.

Please complete this simple form to notify us of your interest in donating
real estate, including your preferred contact information, and a Kidznotes
representative will contact you soon. Thank you!

NOTE: Please see the Retained Life Estate section of the Legacy Gift page if
you would like to donate real estate while retaining the right to use the
   property during your lifetime.

 * DONATE SECURITIES

You're changing lives! Your donation provides children with inspiration and
opportunities that last a lifetime. We are thankful for your support and
   investment in our Kidznotes musicians!

You can support now by donating securities, including privately held or
publicly traded stocks, bonds, and mutual funds. Donating long-term
appreciated securities directly to Kidznotes is a simple process that
maximizes the impact of your gift and your tax deduction.

To donate securities currently held in a brokerage account, please provide
the following delivery instructions to your broker:

   - DTC PARTICIPANT NO: 0443
   - REGISTRATION: Kidznotes, Inc.
   - TAX ID: 27-0446845
   - ACCOUNT NO: TNQ024639
   - FINANCIAL INSTITUTION: First Citizens Investor Services

The above Kidznotes account is a self-liquidating account; as such, it is
essential that Kidznotes is aware when the transfer is in progress. Please
ask your broker to notify Kidznotes’ Director of Development, Brandon Cordrey
(bcordrey@kidznotes.org or 919-321-4475), that the gift has been initiated
and provide donation information, specifically the donor's name.

Kidznotes prefers gifts of securities held in brokerage accounts; however, if
you wish to gift securities held in physical form, please complete the
information form below to notify us of your interest in donating securities,
including your preferred contact information, and a Kidznotes representative
   will contact you soon.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us for
   additional advice and assistance.

 * DONATE BUSINESS INTERESTS

You can support Kidznotes by donating your interest in a private business,
such as a C-Corporation, S-Corporation, Limited Partnership (LP), or Limited
Liability Company (LLC). With appropriate planning and coordination with your
legal and/or financial advisor, the transfer of your business interest in
privately held, non-publicly traded assets to Kidznotes is an uncomplicated
process that can occur without delaying any related exit sale processes.
Donating a long-term appreciated business interest directly to Kidznotes
maximizes the impact of your gift and your tax deduction.

Please complete the information form below to notify us of your potential
opportunity to donate a business interest, including your preferred contact
information, and a Kidznotes representative will contact you soon.

In preparation for the discussion, please review the company governing
documents (e.g., shareholders’ agreement, membership agreements (LLCs),
limited partnership agreements) of your business interest to determine
whether shareholders, partners, or members are subject to transfer
restrictions. If transfer restrictions exist, further investigation is needed
to determine necessary amendments, approvals, or waivers required to complete
the donation. Additionally, there may be rights of first refusal in favor of
the company or other owners that need to be waived before the business
interest can be donated. Note, these restrictions are rarely burdensome
enough to be a significant barrier to transfer and restrictions are typically
handled with a simple waiver or consent by the other interest holders.

For planning purposes, a qualified appraisal (an independent, third-party
valuation) is generally required to substantiate the amount of your
charitable tax deduction to be claimed on your tax return related to donation
of non-publicly traded securities. Appraisals can be obtained no earlier than
60 days before the date of donation, and no later than the date that your
annual tax return (with extensions) is due for the year of donation.
Therefore, while the appraisal does not need to be completed prior to your
donation, you and your financial or legal advisor should engage with a
valuation firm early on in the planning process to confirm both the
qualifications and availability of the appraiser, as well as to set
expectations for the overall process, to prevent any downstream income tax
   challenges.

Please complete this simple form and we will be in touch soon.

We welcome all methods of support for our kids and their development. If you
have questions or are interested in supporting our mission through methods not
listed here, please contact our Development Director, Danielle Shuirman at
