PROCUREMENT

 

Royal Mail Property & Facilities Solutions has a dedicated Procurement team
within Royal Mail Group that is committed to selecting the very best suppliers
and subcontractors and to obtain optimum value and services for our customers.
Through developing strong relationships with our suppliers we are able to
explore new opportunities and the very best products and services.


HOW TO BE A SUPPLIER

 

We have a prequalification process for all suppliers and subcontractors; this
has been designed to meet the requirements of ISO 9001. All of our suppliers
must meet the standards required for Health and Safety, quality and industry
recognised accreditation.


HEALTH AND SAFETY

Health and Safety is our key priority and we put it first in everything we do.
As a business we strive to achieve Zero Harm and ensure that employees,
contractors and customers work in a safe environment.

We expect all of our subcontractors to work safely and drive Zero Harm at all
times. Any subcontractor working for Royal Mail Property & Facilities Solutions
must read, understand and follow the Subcontractor Induction Pack (PDF, approx
275 KB). This sets out Royal Mail Property & Facilities Solutions’, Royal Mail’s
and Contractor’s obligations in respect of Health and Safety, Compliance and the
Environment. It is essential that Subcontractors ensure that their engineers and
employees are fully briefed before working for Royal Mail Property & Facilities
Solutions.
