 * A WOMAN IMMIGRANT’S TIRELESS FIGHT TO BE WITH HER CHILDREN AGAIN

How long can a mother be forced not to see her children? One year and two
months was what the Mexican and British governments made this Mexican woman
endure. A hunger strike and a tireless fight made a reunion possible.

 * THIRD-GENERATION DIASPORA: TO BE OR NOT TO BE

In comparison to their grandparents and parents who may not have felt
completely at home in Britain, accepted that they were different, and in some
cases even expected to be discriminated against, third generation migrants
are more likely to stand up to racism, push for equality and fight against
   discrimination.

 * THE KOGUIS WANT NO MORE WARS AND NO MORE ECOCIDE

They say that besides giving material life so that the world can wake up each
day, in their spiritual testament Siana Mung and Siukukui gave responsibility
to the Older Brothers to advise the Younger Brothers so as not to make wars,
kill people nor clear the forest. But Younger Brothers never listen to them.

 * THE LONELINESS AND GRIEF OF THE IMMIGRANT

Migration is a social fact and consequently, it affects the whole of
society.  It is a process that creates change for those who emigrate, for
those who accept immigrants and for the families who stay behind in the
   native country.

 * SALVADORAN IMMIGRANTS IN THE US: IN A TIGHT SPOT

The uncertainty about what their future will be in the North American country
makes Salvadorans, who support more than a million of their compatriots with
remittances, tremble. If they are expelled by Trump, if he wins, they will
create an insoluble problem in El Salvador and will further complicate
Bukele’s efforts to revamp the economy.

 * A WOMAN IMMIGRANT’S TIRELESS FIGHT TO BE WITH HER CHILDREN AGAIN

How long can a mother be forced not to see her children? One year and two
