UHS and Trinity Health Joint-Venture Partnership Announces Name of New
Behavioral Health Hospital

June 9, 2022 — On Monday, June 6, 2022, the Michigan Department of Health and
Human Services (“MDHHS”) issued a Final Order granting Havenwyck Hospital, Inc.,
a subsidiary of Universal Health Services, certificate of need approval for 60
adult psychiatric beds, allowing Universal Health Services and Trinity Health
Michigan, in a joint venture, to open a new freestanding inpatient behavioral
health hospital in Byron Center, improving access to care for patients.

Universal Health Services and the George Washington University to Restructure GW
Hospital Partnership

Under the restructured agreement, UHS becomes the sole owner of GW Hospital by
