Landing the right moves on sustainability
SLA has been supporting the national journey towards sustainability through
adaptive reuse of State properties and geospatial technology. Mr Sin Lye Chong,
Assistant Chief Executive, Geospatial & Engagement, Chief Sustainability

New State Land Protection Bill to replace the State Land Encroachment Act
The enhancements introduced in the Bill will support SLA in the management of
State land and ensure that State land is better protected from damage and
improper use that can impede development, create public safety issues, and
affect public enjoyment of our scarce land resources.

SLA inks MOU with NUS to further carbon estimation research
SLA will support carbon estimation research conducted by the NUS Centre for
Nature-based Climate Solutions (CNCS), a research centre under the Faculty of
Science, with the necessary geospatial data acquired using technologies such as
airborne laser scanning and imagery.
