Purpose
Supermorpheus’ over arching purpose is to contribute towards growth of
consciousness in the startup ecosystem. We are looking to help build next
generation of startups that we call as “conscious startups”.

What are conscious startups?





SM Community
We are, first and foremost, a community of startup folks who trust each other,
care about each other, like to hangout together, and actively collaborate.

As a community platform, we bring together various stakeholders (founders,
investors, professionals), people who are keen & open to work on their personal
growth and evolution. And as a result, build more conscious startups. Currently,
the community consists of ~700 individuals and ~250 startups. We have active
community groups in Bangalore, Delhi-NCR, Mumbai, Chandigarh, Pune, Singapore,
London, Bay Area, Dubai and a few other geographies. People also come together
through offline city-based meetups, online community dialogs as well as group
conversations.

SM Investments
As an investment platform, we invest small amounts of capital in select startups
from the community & have made 60+ investments so far. Our value proposition is
the track record of the core team, the amazingly warm community and the
philosophy of consciousness.

Morpheus Gang

Few of us from the SM core team had co-founded “Morpheus Gang” - one of the
first startup acceleration communities in India. From 2008 to 2014, along with
many other pioneers, we participated in the early days of India’s startup
revolution. At Morpheus Gang, we worked with 82 portfolio companies including:
Commonfloor, Practo, Hackerrank, Plivo, iimjobs, Posist, Hiver, Callhub,
Airwoot, Deskaway, and many others. It was a journey full of learnings,

Supermorpheus - backstory & context
Dear Friend, Trust all is awesome with you. The purpose of this writeup is to
share the backstory and the context behind Supermorpheus. Backstory Most members
of the Supermorpheus core team are gangsters of the morpheusgang (MG), which was
India's first Startup Acceleration Community (2008-2014). MG included 82
startups, 160+ founders.
