HARVARD VENTURES-TECH WINTER FELLOWSHIP

The Harvard Ventures-TECH Winter Fellowship (HVTWF) is a free, highly selective
winter program designed specifically for high school students passionate about
entrepreneurship and innovation. HVTWF provides aspiring young leaders with an
unparalleled opportunity to dive deep into a transformative experience at the
cutting edge of technology and business, spanning 5 days during winter break.
Fellows will benefit from world-class instruction, hands-on projects, and
exclusive mentorship from top industry professionals, all while becoming part of
a global, lifelong network of alumni.

At the Technology and Entrepreneurship Center at Harvard, we believe in
nurturing exceptional young talent to become tomorrow’s thought leaders and
innovators. Our mission is to equip future thought leaders, innovators, and
entrepreneurs with the skills, networks, and hands-on experiences needed to
shape the world of technology and entrepreneurship.

HVTWF provides a unique, immersive environment where cutting-edge learning meets

PROGRAM COMPONENTS


EXPERT-LED WORKSHOPS & ONE-ON-ONE MENTORSHIP

Engage in immersive workshops, fireside chats, and personalized mentorship from
industry leaders, Harvard faculty, and successful entrepreneurs. Learn directly
from the best while receiving guidance tailored to your growth.


COLLABORATIVE PROJECT DEVELOPMENT

Work with peers to develop your own projects from scratch. Learn how to turn an
idea into a real-world solution through hands-on collaboration, gaining valuable
skills in product development and entrepreneurship.


LIFETIME ACCESS TO A GLOBAL NETWORK

Join an exclusive network of HVTWF awardees and alumni. Build relationships with
global innovators and changemakers, opening doors to future collaborations,
ventures, and opportunities.

LEARN FROM WORLD-CLASS EXPERTS

At HVTWF, we pride ourselves on connecting fellows with some of the brightest
and most accomplished minds in technology, entrepreneurship, and finance. Our
expert-led workshops and personalized mentorship sessions are designed to
immerse participants in cutting-edge thinking and real-world problem-solving.

In the past, TECH has hosted industry leaders from a diverse range of fields to
lead our workshops and mentor students. This includes:

 * Founders backed by Y Combinator, who share their first-hand experiences in
   building and scaling innovative startups.

 * Managing Directors from Goldman Sachs, offering invaluable insights into
   venture capital, investment banking, and global market strategies.

 * Cory Levy, founder of Z Fellows, guiding students through early-stage startup
   challenges and the entrepreneurial journey.

 * Serial entrepreneurs who have sold their companies for millions of dollars,
   offering a unique perspective on what it takes to build, grow, and exit
   successful ventures.

 * Investors from top-tier venture capital firms like Pear VC, who mentor
   students on how to secure funding, build investor relationships, and navigate
   the startup ecosystem.

 * Executive companies like Google, who discuss strategic decision-making
   frameworks employed at ‘Big Tech’ companies.

 * Harvard professors and lecturers, who provide academic rigor and innovative
   thought leadership, blending theoretical knowledge with practical
   applications.



Throughout the program, fellows benefit from mentorship sessions where they
receive personalized guidance from these experts. Whether refining a business
idea, learning how to pitch to investors, or building a long-term career
strategy, this mentorship offers students an opportunity to accelerate their
growth and tailor their journey to success.


PROGRAM LOGISTICS

Tuition: Free

Dates: 5 days during winter break. Selected based on fellow availabilities.

Format: Virtual/Remote

Eligibility: High-school students from any country


ADMISSIONS

At HVTWF, we are not seeking any specific background or set of experiences.
Instead, we are looking for students who demonstrate a strong interest and
desire to innovate, regardless of the medium they choose—whether through
technology and coding, law, the arts, humanities, business, or any other field.
We encourage applicants from all backgrounds to apply.

All applicants, whether selected for the fellowship or not, will gain access to
our exclusive newsletter, providing valuable insights, resources, and
opportunities to stay connected to the innovation community.

Applications for early consideration are due September 30, and regular decision
applications are due October 31.
