for a trip from Detroit to New Orleans. The route they drove was based on
information from the historic travel guide, The Negro Motorist Green Book. They
interviewed people who shared powerful stories and memories of that time that
became the center of the ten-episode, Driving the Green Book podcast.

Alvin posits that since he doesn't fit into the narrowly defined idea of what a
financial advisor should look like in the U.S., he fell through the cracks and
didn't get a fair chance. In the UK, on the other hand, "they'll give you the
