Our Vision

To prevent and protect against sexual and gender-based violence, rape, and child
molestation while building a society where all people, especially women and girl
child in Nigeria and across Africa, live free from sexual violence.

Our Mission

Our mission is to propagate a humanitarian cause for the wounded and defenseless
while promoting positive mind set development and life improvement for sexual
abuse victims. Using various advocacy tools and programs to promote community
health and offer support to victims through their post-traumatic syndrome
disorder stages, with the overall goal of fighting against all perpetrators of
sexual violence and other gender related crimes in the society.

MiBEF was founded by a determined young woman. Quincy Effiong, a dedicated
advocate for humanitarian activities, sexual and public health advocacy
initiatives, and human development programs. Although the foundation was
conceptualized in 2016, it became fully registered and operational in 2019.;

AIMS AND OBJECTIVES



Sensitizing, creating awareness, and advocating for the prevention of child
abuse, molestation, and rape among women, girl child and children in Nigeria and
across Africa.

Promoting positivity, emotional intelligence, psychological stability, and
lifestyle development for the most vulnerable members of our communities and the
nation at large.

Providing a transformational and rehabilitation platform to help and support
rape victims and highly vulnerable in our society.

Providing a transformational and rehabilitation platform to help and support

Advocating for the domestication of the "Child Rights Act" and other programs
aimed at ensuring children's rights, preventing sexual violence and trafficking
against children, girl child, and women.

Advancing the cause of vulnerable women and girls through specific skills
empowerment and enhancement programs.

Conducting outreach programs on community healthcare services, prevention, and
advocacy on HIV/AIDS, STDs, and other public health-related issues affecting the
overall well-being of vulnerable women and girls in Nigeria and across the
continent.
