Everyone is welcome. The Outdoor Centre has been renting gear and delivering
outdoor programs for more than 45 years. We offer a large range of programs and
rentals to outdoor lovers both on and off campus.

Summer Programs Overview

RENTAL GEAR

Choose from over 10,000 used outdoor rental equipment items including rafts,
canoes, SUP boards, tents, sleeping bags, and bikes. Our winter gear rentals
include skis, snowshoes, ice axes, splitboards, avalanche safety gear, and more!

SKI/BIKE REPAIR SERVICES

Ski / Board Repair Shop: experienced techs can wax, tune or repair your
snowboards, downhill, alpine touring or telemark skis. Bike Shop: qualified bike
mechanics and full range of parts for your mountain or road bike.

The University of Calgary, located in the heart of Southern Alberta, both

Treaty 7, which include the Blackfoot Confederacy (comprised of the Siksika, the
Piikani, and the Kainai First Nations), the Tsuut’ina First Nation, and the

The University of Calgary is situated on land Northwest of where the Bow River
meets the Elbow River, a site traditionally known as Moh’kins’tsis to the
Blackfoot, Wîchîspa to the Stoney Nakoda, and Guts’ists’i to the Tsuut’ina. On
this land and in this place we strive to learn together, walk together, and grow
together “in a good way.”
