MIDSUMMA AND AUSTRALIA POST ART AWARD SUBMISSIONS NOW OPEN

The art award is open nation-wide to artists in any medium. We encourage anyone
in Australia to apply. Finalists' work is exhibited between 28 January and 9
February 2025 as part of Midsumma Festival.




THE PEARL PRIZE 2025 SUBMISSIONS NOW OPEN

A writing award where Queer writers have a platform for self-expression through
the writing landscape and into publication. Writers can submit writing in any
form of prose or poetry to a literary panel and begin their journey in the
Australian writing scene.




FOOD VENDOR EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST ARE NOW OPEN

Food Vendor Expressions Of Interest for Midsumma Festival 2025 are now open.
Food Trucks interested in attending Midsumma Carnival, Midsumma Pride March or

opportunity to write a new work for trailblazing keyboardist and composer Jacob
Abela, to be premiered at Homophonic! as part of Midsumma Festival 2025. 🌈
Whether you're an emerging or established composer, this is your chance to
celebrate and showcase your unique voice. We're looking for new works that bring
the richness of queer stories and identities to life through music. 🎵 Prize
