Treasury Under Secretary for Domestic Finance Nellie Liang chaired the meeting on behalf of the Secretary of the Treasury Janet Yellen and was joined by Rohit Chopra, Director of the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, who serves as Vice Chair of the FLEC. The meeting featured a panel discussion on recent trends in financial fraud and recourse options for consumers, as well as a spotlight discussion on innovative financial education strategies to address consumer fraud.
