ABOUT ME



Hi! I'm Ashwin, a 5th-year mechanical engineering student at UT Austin. I'm
passionate about building mechanical and electromechanical devices, whether they
be simple, complex, useful, or just plain cool! I embrace projects that force me
to learn and apply new concepts.

POSITION CONTROL

Position control was achieved by a simple pulley and motor. Because this was
cable driven, I had to design a tensioning mechanism for the proof of concept,
which ended up as a pair of eccentric cams.





MY WORKSPACE

My workspace and tools are a large part of my workflow and my design process. I
make decisions based largely off of what I know I have available, both in terms
of materials and manufacturing methods.
