The congress is centered on clinical best practices and the latest research across the globe, with a specific focus on the maternal aspect of maternal-fetal medicine. The SMFM Global Congress will offer a diverse range of activities such as pre-congress courses, invited lecturers, poster presentations, networking and exhibiting opportunities, and industry learning sessions. CALL FOR ABSTRACTS Abstracts for the 2024 SMFM Global Congress will open on Wednesday, 21, February. To preview information that will be requested and prepare your submission in advance, please view our Global Congress Abstract Submission Brochure. Frequently Asked Questions What are the dates of the Congress? 25 – 28 September 2024. The congress will begin on Wednesday, 25 September, with pre-congress courses and an evening welcome reception and cultural performance. The research and scientific program will start the morning of Thursday, 26 September, and conclude at midday on Saturday, 28 September. Exhibits will also open on Thursday, 26 September. How may I register to attend the Global Congress? Registration for the 2024 SMFM Global Congress will launch in March 2024. Registration rates will be posted on Wednesday, 31 January 2024. Please check back! How may I submit a Postgraduate Course for pre-congress programming? For our inaugural congress, we will not offer any solicitations for the postgraduate course program. Postgraduate course programming will be done by invitation only and curated under the direction of our Global Congress leadership (Advisors, Steering Committee, and Planning Committee). How may I submit an abstract for review and consideration on the Scientific Session Program? Abstracts should be submitted through the official Call for Abstracts portal. The submission portal will open on Wednesday, 21 February 2024. What will the official language of the conference be? The official language of the congress is English. Will there be a virtual component to the Congress? The Global Congress will be an in-person meeting, and there will not be a virtual component.
