As part of a library trustee board, trustees serve on a volunteer basis, and are appointed either by a Hocking County Court of Common Please Judge or the Hocking County Commissioners; this vacant seat will be appointed by the Hocking County Commissioners. Trustees are tasked with the duty of helping to direct the funds and policies of the library, and to abide by the Board of Trustees Code of Regulations.
